Did you know that global warming is real and extremely dangerous for our environment? Today, there are a variety of environmental problems that affect our entire world; some of them include rain forest destruction, air pollution, land pollution, acid rain, and over population. However, out of all these problems, Global warming is the major problem that exists in our environment. According to Merriam Webster’s dictionary, global warming is an increase in the earth’s average atmospheric temperature due to which the climate changes. This is caused by the greenhouse effect, where the atmosphere builds up by gases, such as carbon dioxide and methane, and the heat from the sun stays in the atmosphere, which rises the temperature on earth. Each year, we see natural disasters that affect our environment and kill many innocent people. For instance, in April 2011, Japan was hit by earthquake that took away thousands of lives and destroyed everything. If we ignore the facts now, then the consequence could be catastrophic. Since many past years, global warming has been a problem with many causes along with effects, and it is time to solve this problem before it devastates our whole world. Global warming is a problem that has been around since many years, and has occurred many times in the Earth’s history.
