There is so much evidence that climate change exist so we need to find a way to stop climate change so the effects of climate change won’t happen. We soon learned that the cause of climate change could have been through greenhouse gases. There are different types of greenhouse gases, but the one we’re going to talk about is carbon dioxide. Greenhouse gases (which are located below the atmosphere) are gases that allow light from the sun to pass through the gases and some light/heat back out into space, but a certain amount of light gets trapped on the earth. This is called the greenhouse effect.

Global climate change, something that most people in the world are not taking as seriously as they should. Many people believe that climate change is a phenomenon; a conspiracy theory to engage people into spending more money. When the world became industrialized, we lost our way on protecting our Earth, our only planet. Industrialization is why our environment is in critical condition. Advocating and government officials are necessary for a decrease of Greenhouse Gas emissions into our atmosphere. For our environment to thrive, changes need to happen and they can begin with yourself.

Thermal expansion and the melting of continental ice sheets and glaciers are raising sea levels. Predictions are complicated with this issue because as the atmosphere absorbs more and more greenhouse gases the faster the melting will occur. When only 1% of the three largest ice bodies on Earth melt, the Greenland ice sheet, the west Antarctic ice sheet, and the east Antarctic ice sheet, there is a sea level rise of 76 cm, which is not including the melt runoff from smaller glaciers and ice sheets all over the world. Now this is simply a rise in the water level, however combining sea level rise with land subsidence will amplify flooding (subsidence is the sinking of continental land which occurs after subduction zone earthquakes, ground water over use, and has many other causes). Every coast line will change, flooding the most populated and dangerous areas, I say dangerous because nuclear power plants are built on the coasts to access sea water for facility cooling and catastrophic damage will add additional poisons and toxic nuclear waste that will travel around the planet. (SkepticalScience). In 2008 there is an estimated 20 million climate refugees, as these events continue it is projected that there will be 200 million climate refugees by the year 2050.

One of the most controversial and hot buzzer topics of today would be that of global warming. Although many believe global warming is real to some extent, it is a debated topic because just as many people believe that it is a fabricated government sham. Despite differing public opinion, "Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities, and most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position." (NASA) Considering this, global climate is very much a real occurrence due human presence on this earth, which is made evident through the increase in extreme weather patterns, the rise in carbon dioxide emissions

In the world we live in, it seems like all of society has clouded judgement on just about everything. You’ll turn on the TV and see people go against all types of logical thought, and that can lead to even your own judgement being shrouded in a cloud of confusion. One topic that leads in this “social confusion” is global warming. While climatologists and many other well-versed people on the matter argue for its reality, many have their hearts set on quite an opposite alternative. Our world is plagued by the fake news brought about by these people, and the only way we can fix this issue is to get past the lies and to focus on the solutions themselves.

With this technology we have created comes a great deal of responsibility, we can use this to our benefit along with benefitting our Earth or we can emit more harmful gases into the atmosphere. During the industrial revolution machines were made that could do things 20 strong men couldn’t do, this being said these machines needed fuel. People looked for fuel to work these machines and many found burning coal worked quite well, while it may have ran the machines well at the time it also polluted the air we breathe. The people living back in the 18th and 19th century weren’t affected by this air pollution but instead the people of today

Climate change limits the opportunities that future generations have, especially the most poorest and most vulnerable. It is our duty to change how people treat/use the earth, educate, and get involved in our communities ​that can have a huge impact on improving the lives of the vulnerable populations affected by climate change.

The Topic I decide for my persuasive essay is Global Warming & Environmental Changes. This Topic is very important for everyone to know about it and try to do something to help on our environment. As should be obvious the Global Warming is a moderate addition in the general temperature of the world's air generally credited to the “Greenhouse” and is an amazing point to discuss; accordingly, I truly need to seek after the reader, so they can see the emergency that is happening in our world. Global warming has been an increasing problem throughout the world. Over the years people have worried about the situation and tried to come up with ways to solve the situation. What exactly is global warming, and how could we stop it?

Global Warming will continue to be a monstrous problem to be dealt with, when thinking of the future what needs to be considered is how long can the Earth keep sustaining life with little to no change. Change cannot happen overnight but, with nations working together to fix a common goal it is possible to put in motion a considerable change that will benefit the generations to come. Global warming cannot keep being put off, the risks are to great to ignore anymore, it is everyone’s problem therefore, it takes everyone to make the situation okay. Scientists need to keep raising awareness to get people to jump into action, the quicker the better. Politicians like Al Gore need to be more involved in the truth and facts surrounding climate change

Global warming has been an on-going issue for many decades. Most people would argue that it is a hoax; while others argue it is true. Climate change can cause a domino effect of catastrophes throughout the world. Once it affects one group, then that affected group will affect another, and so on and so forth; like a plague. Global warming is an authentic problem and we need to find more efficient ways to eliminate it, or at least contain it.

In recent years, Earth’s climate has rapidly risen due to human activities which is beginning to significantly affect ecosystems all over the world. Today however, many Americans still believe that this phenomenon is just a hoax in contrast to what multiple studies have proven and evident temperature records which have soared since 2001. According to Pew Research Center, 20% of those surveyed still claim that there are no solid evidence of climate change which is disastrous to our current home, Earth. The majority of those who don’t believe in this phenomenon are usually uneducated conservatives, or people who are simply receiving information from the wrong sources. Studies show that media messages or tabloids have a strong impact on voters whether the source is credible or not, therefore easily swaying people’s opinion. The disbelief of this reality has already shown its consequences as many animals have lost their homes, sea levels are rising due to the melting of ice caps, and natural disasters are occurring one after another. In general, climate change is not just an environmental issue but also a social issue because some people choose to ignore it because of psychological reasons or it is more beneficial for the corporations who are making money from producing fossil fuel. As much as scientists have tried to warn people, they have chosen to turn a blind eye toward the potential destruction of humanity, and as patriotic Americans, there must be some way to persuade

In our modern era, we have relied on the high government to address climate change. With our government at a constant stalemate, we must find alternative ways to combat the issues on a smaller, community-based scale. Through incorporating ideas from Mark Roseland’s book, Toward Sustainable Communities and other outside concepts, climate change must be addressed not only at a large international scale, but within neighborhoods.
