Glorious Revolution- In 1688, William of Orange lead a quick and bloodless coup and overthrew James II in order to prevent having a Catholic heir to the English throne.

The American Revolution was a political separation between Britain and the original Thirteen Colonies. It occurred between the years 1765 and 1783, resulting in a lot of bloodshed and casualties. With tension building between the two powers, the revolution was a battle that formed what America is today. The Boston Tea Party, the Boston Massacre, and the many taxes imposed are factors to what lead the colonists to form together and fight Britain. The reason why America won against its former owner is because of the alliance with France, the knowledge of the terrain, and the determination that the soldiers had.

Analyze the extent to which these values and purposes were transformed and challenged over time.

1688-1689: Glorious Revolution occurred in which James II was dethroned in favor of Protestants William III and Mary

There was a lot of significance in the Revolutionary War that lasted six years, and there was a lot of suffering. There were large totals of wounded and dead lost in the war. The American losses totaled 70,000 according to a doctor in the Continental Army. There were likely some 25,000 war-related deaths, and maybe approximately another 25,000 injured. Smallpox became a widespread epidemic in which the disease and infection surfaced and may have killed off as many as 13,000 colonists. The smartest thing that probably took place during the entire war was that George Washington had his troops inoculated with the smallpox vaccine. The war itself was one that divided the colonists between the loyalist and those who were undecided had the choice

The Republican Revolution, Revolution of '94 or Gingrich Revolution refers to the Republican Party (GOP) success in the 1994 U.S. midterm elections,[1] which resulted in a net gain of 54 seats in the House of Representatives, and a pickup of eight seats in the Senate. The day after the election, conservative Democrat Senator Richard Shelby of Alabama changed parties, becoming a Republican. The Democrats only picked up 4 seats in the House, all of which were open seats. No Republican incumbents were defeated at any level.

The social state of France was the final reason for the French Revolution. The French social class was divided into three classes that included the clergy, nobles, ant the common people. The First estate was made of the higher and lower clergy. The higher clergy lived amongst luxury while the lower clergy were miserable. The Second Estate was made of the court nobles and provincial nobles, the court nobles also lived in luxury and the provincial nobles did not enjoy the same treatment. The Third estate was made of common people such as farmers, cobblers, and sweepers. Class resentment was as big of an issue during the Revolutionary period as it is today in the modern-era. One of the most notable was the attacks on theaters during the 18th century. For many centuries people all over the world have been fighting for their freedoms. Some countries have freedom while others don’t. The battle for establishing and preserving freedom is still an ongoing issue for most. It is crucial to know how to make and keep freedom. One way you can do this is by having an education and being united.

The reason I chose the American Revolution as my topic was mainly because to me I thought it was very relevant subject to speak upon and not many of us have knowledge of how we even became the United States of America. Basically the American Revolution was one of many steps taken to develop our democracy type of government that we do have today. Also it tells about how the original thirteen broke away from the British harsh government taxes. To be honest I chose this topic simply because it was and I’ve done a report on this back in grade school. These are the causes that led up to the war (not the signing because its already prior knowledge)

Some say the glorious revolution was one of the greatest landmarks in the history of England. The glorious revolution is a very important event in history for multiple reasons. It wasn’t exactly a peaceful occasion but it was one in which no war of fight occurred. This was a pleasant change for England at the time because they had been experiencing plenty of fights over the throne and for once it was a relatively smooth transaction.

Glorious Revolution of 1688 solidly settled a Protestant government together with successful manage by Parliament.
