A postsecondary education can help me with so much especially since I am a strong believer that education is the power to all success. My goals after college are to end my college years with my Bachelors of Science in biology with a pre dental profession from Bowling Green State University. Even though the paradox of big goals is that the more potential they have to change our lives, the more paralyzing our fears can become is a big factor and still continues to play a big part, and for me thats one thing I want to overcome and prove wrong. However, after college I plan to start working for a while to start saving money for dental school and then to finally go and get my Master's degree in Dentistry from Vanderbilt University of Nashville,
College is expensive. No one can pay for it by themselves unless they’re a millionaire. What about the people who actually need help? I am one of those people. If given a scholarship, how will it benefit my education? If I was given a scholarship, it will benefit me in reaching my educational goal by motivating and pushing me to do better to make the organization proud and it will grant me the ability to get everything I need because it will not have any limitations to what I can do with it.
Enrolled at Miami Dade College is the starting point to complete my long life desire and goal of earning a Master degree in management engineering, and business administration. From the time I was a young kid through the time of high school, I had always have passion for more knowledge, and engineering. But in my senior year in high school to the time of summer, I have led to the discovery of another passion, and great ambition toward it (Business). However, to reach those goals, I will need the power of education, which provide more knowledge, and wisdom to whoever seek. By pursuing a college degree, I have a higher change of successes in both degree, in life also. But this question also deal with emotional feeling, pursuing a college degree
Education has always been a major part of my life. While growing up, I always knew that I would graduate from high school and then continue my education in college. That has always been my plan and now I am making it a reality by attending college here at Utah State University. There are many reasons as to why I am here. The first reason would have to be that I made a goal when I was younger that I would attend college. I am very dedicated to any kind of goal that I make and going to college to pursue a career that required a higher education has always been a dream of mine. I like a challenge and I feel that not just anyone can come to college. Those who attend college need to have the right mindset to have the motivation and dedication
My short term goals are to earn multiple degrees in college and discover what career I want to pursue. I plan to do this by working extremely hard in a wide variety of classes in order to find what fields I could work in and enjoy. Since I’m not entirely sure what I want to pursue in life, my only prevailing long term goal is to be content and proud of what I have accomplished. I feel that as long as I consistently work hard and strive to be the best I can be, I will accomplish this goal. I believe that Weber Honors College will help me to achieve these goals by constantly challenging me to outdo myself. I also believe the amazing opportunities the school provides such as a wide selection of majors and classes, study abroad experiences, and
Up to this point in my life, all of my experiences have shaped my perspective on my life. Through these experiences, I have formulated long-term goals. These specific goals may be some of the most important ones I will ever make. The long-term goals I have decided on right now include becoming a lawyer and an NFL referee. Each field will present their own challenges. If I wish to excel in each field, I will have to be dedicated and motivated each step of the way. This dedication and motivation has come without challenges so far. The major challenge is the pathway to a college education. A college education would almost certainly be needed in order to become a successful attorney. Many of the lawyers and attorneys I meet day to day at the Ottawa
My current education goals are to graduate with nothing less than a 3.6, commission into the United States Air Force from Detachment 290 at the University of Kentucky, obtain a Ph.D in Political Leadership, and in Theology before I am 35 years old. My career goals are to become an intelligence officer in the Air Force and become a general, create a mentorship program, work in ministry, create scholarship programs, become a lobbyist, own a restaurant and a hotel, as well as becoming a part-time high school basketball coach. Everything I want to do in my life is not only to help families with low- income, but to also help kids that was raised in single parent homes or didn’t have someone to look up to growing up. I my life I was pretty much alone,
Growing up, I had such big hopes and dreams for myself. As a child, I always aspired to be a teacher because I loved telling people what to do and taking charge. I am the oldest child and would always have to help my brother with his homework and teach him how to do things around the house. I remember how I enjoy quizzing him for his spelling tests. Unfortunately, life did not go as planned and I ended up taking the wrong path in life. However, 13 years and 3 kids later I decided to return to college.
The fact that the University of Michigan has one of the best, in general education programs in the country is enough to make most students want to attend its classrooms. Specifically for me that highly ranked program lies in the University of Michigan’s College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where Biology department is held. But those facts only state that overall the college is the best, but doesn’t get to the underlying reason; The professors and faculty are some of the best in the country. My goal after college is to become a researcher in human genetics or join a firm that works in developing state of the art genetics based technology. To do this I firmly believe that I need one of the best educations, provided by the best professors, if I want to enter my future job with 100% certainty in my work. With low average class sizes and instruction from the nation's best professors, I know it’s possible to easily interact with the professors that will help me mold myself into knowledgeable student I want to be
My main objective for going to college is to put myself in a position where I can bring people together to solve common problems. I am currently a sophomore in college and I’m double majoring in both International Relations and Computer Technology. As an ambassador of my generation, my goal is to become a language interpreter for the United Nations and a computer technician. I plan on studying abroad to further enhance my knowledge and gain a greater understanding of how to communicate more effectively with different cultures. The personal experience of interacting with different people will give me insight on how to not only bring people together, but enhance my skills as an interpreter as well. According to Eve Elwell from thirdyearabroad.com,
For the next several years, I have set different goals for myself. I have set educational goals for high school and college, professional goals for a future career, and personal goals to improve me as a person. Setting goals allows me to focus on what I am working toward. Having a plan will help me achieve my goals. By working hard and staying on the right track, I am going to meet my goals.
My educational goals are to finish high school with all A’s and a GPA of 4.5 or higher. These are short-term goals that will help me to get into a good college. My top choice for college is Davidson College. The next prospects are Vanderbilt University, Appalachian State University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In college, I want to obtain, eventually, a Ph.D. and pursue a career in writing and English or potentially become a professor. During college, I want to study abroad, travel out of the US to experience different cultures and lifestyles. My goal is to traverse the world and visit Scotland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France, England, Greece, etc. I want to see the Eiffel Tower, visit the Roman Coliseum, and explore
College is the most commonly discussed topic that my teachers, parents, classmates, friends, and family members converse with me about, and the main reason branches from my current status as an eleventh grader. This means that I have a year and a half left until graduation and college entry. Every day, I am advised the same, repeated information about colleges: “College is awesome,” “College is great,” “You will have so much to stress about,” “College is no joke,” “You should be thinking about colleges,” “Do you know which college you are going to?” These popular phrases I listen to religiously are the reason why I stress about making sure that I obtain the essential resources I need for college, but why should I worry so much about something that I do not necessarily know anything about? Adults have explained so much about college and how the experience will be like, but how would I truly know the experience if I do not have a first-hand perspective on it? I believe that the Summer Scholars Program at the University of Miami
After thirteen years of planning and learning about what college has to offer, the decision finally has to be made about what I want to do with future academic career and life after college. The number of colleges I have to choose from is endless. However; the bigger decision is whether to attend a local branch of Ohio University or Zane State or attend a college out of town.
Getting a college education is a journey in itself. You can learn a lot within those four years. You learn about yourself, others, and what you are capable of. College is known to test your limits mentally, socially, and ethically. I see my college experience shaping who I am into who I will be.
My goal after college is to continue to get my education at a higher level by completing three to four more years of school to get my doctoral degree in medicine. By doing internships in the field I want to study which is anesthesia it will help me to broaden my career into different parts of the united states and hopefully while traveling it will set the grounds of where I would like to live and raise my family when that time comes. Completing my years of school and internships will send me in the right direction when starting my career with my name already out and known. When starting my career, I will already have a game plan on how much money I would
