To be hands on In the medical field and have more job opportunities you need to have more then a certificate. I plan to start with an associate in health science to start my long time goal in the medical field. Iv choose AMU'S associates of health science degree as a step towards my long term goal because it provides the flexibility to complete a step towards that goal. I am a working wife of a soon to be deployed soldier and a mother to an three year old boy named Blakely. I am family oriented and also a member of the family rediness group so this flexibility will allow me to still continue these things along with accomplish something Iv had my heart set on since i found the medical field and fell in love. This passion for the medical field
When I think of medicine I think of diversity. The medical field contains a multiplicity of individuals, culture, and exchange; exposure to the Guatemalan culture offers a plethora of experience that allows me to build on personal growth, educational enhancements, and the opportunity to make a difference. The availability of this program through the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine is a blessing as well as a prayer answered for the prospect to experience the world beyond the borders of the United Stares.
It is little things like coming to class on time, reading your chapters ahead of time, completing homework, and studying will get you far while trying to graduate with excellent grades. Once I graduate then it’s time for me to get certified because most employers prefer that for you to get hired on the job. After that then it is time to go job hunting. Sometimes you may start at a job you will not like but you have to gain experience somewhere. After a few years on the job then I can find somewhere I truly want to work. I prefer working in a hospital setting in the long run. That is the steps I will take to achieve my goals in become a certified medical
In May of this year, I will be graduating with a degree in Healthcare Management. I chose to obtain this degree to begin setting me up for my future endeavors.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. These interests were most likely brought to life from my desire to want to help people and learn more about the human body. The experiences I’ve had throughout my life have brought me closer to the belief that I can one day make a difference in the world through medicine. All though I am not completely decided on what I would like my future career to be, I have been able to narrow my options down to a few of the many choices available.
I have had a passion for becoming a healthcare provider for children for quite a while (for a long time). Children are one of the most important individuals of society because they are the future and will one day be in charge of the world. Their health at a young age is indicative to how their health will be as adults. Childhood has a great effect on how a person turns out to be so I hope to help children I hope to use prevention and education to preserve and restore the health of my patients. My career goals are to prevent children from having to spend time in hospitals or in pain and to help them live out their life and dreams to the fullest extent. Children play a very large role in their families, and when a child becomes sick, the whole family becomes distressed. Pediatricians not only heal children, but they help and prevent a family from suffering. I love medicine and children, and I hope to combine these two passions by becoming a pediatrician.
Being a Medical Assistant requires much strength, as well as being able to multitask however there are many ways to grow in the medical field.
In the health care field, there are many opportunities one can explore. A few examples of healthcare career options vary from respiratory therapists, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technicians, medical assistants, to the more common hospitalists, physicians, and registered nurses. Of course each position requires certain education requirements and various qualifications to be accepted into the desired healthcare position. However, today we are going to go in depth in the medical assistant position.
There are an infinite number of benefits from a career in the medical field, but the defining point in my decision is the impact that I would potentially have in other people’s life. I want to be the person that continues one’s fight when they feel like they can no longer fight. The person who sees people at some of their worst times and still gives them hope for the future, no matter what the situation may be. Additionally, it has always been a dream of mine to grow up and truly enjoy waking up each morning to go do what I love. I see a medical career being exactly what would transform this dream of mine into a reality if I were one day blessed enough to have a career in

Being in the medical field is something my family has been in for a few generations now. My grandmother once worked in a nursing home, and my aunts were both nursing assistants. My mother has been in the medical field since she was sixteen, starting in a nursing home, and then becoming a nursing assistant until 2007. Shortly afterwards, she became a medical assistant that she currently still is today. It can only but inspire me to be working in the medical field next. I wanted to be a neurologist first, then a psychologist, but with the amount of schooling and how much debt I’d be in, I thought it through and figured out I want to be a nurse practitioner. They have similar duties to a registered nurse except they give advanced services to patients, and it can be cheaper going to medical school as well as having to go for a shorter amount of time than a regular doctor as well as great benefits and salary.
My career goals have led me to Cedars-Sinai, to a residency program that provides both the academic opportunities and continuity and intimacy of care I desire. Through the program’s academic partnership, I aspire to chase lifelong learning via research and inspire other’s to better the world through education; through its ambulatory experience, I aim to be a voice for the marginalized and to practice within a diverse clinical setting. Most importantly, I wish to train at Cedars-Sinai because I have seen the internists approach care of my family with an empathetic and holistic approach I hope to emulate.
In order to actually earn the certificate they will have to pass an exam where they will need to be familiar with medical terminology (Tanja, 2015). Others even have option to complete a two-year associate’s degree in health information management and most of the courses required are online courses (Ewing, 1999). A bachelor’s degree is another option, some individuals actually decide to pursue the degree in health information technology and this is an advantage while looking for a medical biller and coder job (Ewing, 1999). Although, to become a medical biller and coder there are no mandatory educational requirements and a college degree isn’t required for the
On a more specific, personal level as to why I want to attend the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, the reasons are numerous. I was born and raised in the great state of Arkansas, better known as: “The Land of Opportunity.” I truly believe that UAMS offers its students an incredible opportunity for success. I would consider it a great honor and fulfilled vision to graduate with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies in my home state.
Looking into medical careers that interested me, there were many jobs that involve blood or needles and I am the person that does not like either of those. Taking advanced placement chemistry, I found the classes challenging, enjoyable, and I fell in love with science, especially chemistry. After extensive research, I decided to major in pharmacy, which I found to be a flexible degree. Not only is it flexible, it will allow me to help others because it offers careers in pharmaceutical companies to develop drugs. My main career objective is to be able to help others in a productive career that I enjoy.
My favourite subjects at school were biology and exercise science – biomedical studies really float my boat – and as an optimistic 18 year old, I have visions of saving lives and making the world a better place. A health science degree from ANU will position me well to realise this vision.
