Going out west last summer was one of the most exciting and interesting things I have ever done in my life. When my mom first told me about the trip I was only really excited about going on the airplane. But when we got there, I was in for a big surprise.
One of the worst parts of the trip was that my family and I had to wake up at 3:00 AM to catch the plane in Manchester. We flew from Manchester to Cleveland Ohio, and then from Cleveland to Salt Lake City, Utah. I had a lot of fun on the plane. They served me a lot of drinks and food because I was hungry. I couldn't wait to get to the airport because airports are fun. When we arrived in Cleveland I went to some stores and got more to eat. Then we got on the airplane again and started

We stayed there for 1 night. While we were there we went to the lake and rented jet skis. It was a lot of fun.
The next day we packed our bags and drove to the famous, Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It is the coolest town I have ever been to in my life. The stores there were incredible and so were the restaurants. They even had a "Ripleys Believe It or Not" museum. They also had a very nice ski area. We even went to a rodeo. They had barrel racing, bull riding, and calf roping. We stayed there for 3-4 days and it was awesome. While there my mom, my dad, my sister, and I all went white water rafting. It was one of the most exciting things I have ever done. I got so wet and the waves and rapids were gigantic!!! We all had a great time.
After all of the excitement in Jackson Hole we traveled to Yellowstone National Park. We drove up the western side of the park towards Montana. While we were there we visited Old Faithful, Yellowstone Lake, Mammoth Springs, and then on to Gardiner, Montana where my sisters roommate from school lives. We had a great time while we were there. We rode horses up in the mountains and it was amazing. It was a great experience. We also went down into the town where we went shopping. One day we went to a place called Chico Hot Springs, which was a resort spa. From Gardiner we started heading southwest to Idaho Falls, Idaho where we stayed for one night.
We were pulling up at the parking lot of Knott's soak city it was so full. I was so exited. First we had to get our tickets. Second we had to find some chairs. Then we went to a pool called The wave cove. And every 5 minutes waves would hit. It was so fun to swim over them. After that we went to a big water slide that was 50 feet tall. My little cousin went on one that was 4 feet tall. Then we ate pizza and salad. Then we went to the Lazy river that took you around Knott's soak city.
This trip was with a bunch of boy scouts that I had no idea who they were and I was to be with them for 3 weeks. I met lot’s of good friends and I felt welcome. My trip started off by heading to Washington D.C. We saw lots of memorials and museums. We then went to gettysburg and philadelphia. From that point on, until the Jamboree, we visited LDS sites and finally the national pro football hall of fame.
My trip to the Grand Canyon was the best experience I ever had so far in my life. My grandparents from Korea came along with us. Even though I saw them last year it was still an enjoyable moment that I had. Grand Canyon is located in Arizona so what our family did was fly to Las Vegas early in the morning and arrive in Nevada around 9 o’clock am. Driving to Grand Canyon was also five hours with heavy traffic. Driving and stopping every hour was hard to do but at the end it was all worth it. It was good that I had couple electronic devices and my family to keep me in company.
This summer I went on a trip to pigeon forge tennessee and did a bunch of activities while I was there.Even though we did a lot of activities my favorite one was white water rafting which we did towards the end of the trip.It was the highlight of my trip and i'm going to tell you all about it.
Rollercoasters. We got to space Mountain and we must have rode it 10 times because I was having so much fun that we kept going back again and again. Then we went to splash mountain which is a water version of space mountain, i got soaked along with my dad, he had to sit up front where he got soaked the most. My dad and I decided we needed to get some food so we went to this one
Last summer me and my family went to valleyfair. We got up really early because we had to drive to shakopee. It was a long drive and i fell asleep in the car. I hate long cars rides because they are always so boring, anyways when we got there we had to go through security and then go and get our tickets and wristbands. When we got in there we went on some rides and got food. All i ate that day was panda express. And i went on the wild thing and steel venom.
So one of the best thing I have ever gotten to do is go to Six Flags. The one I got to go to is in Van Texas. It is a crazy amusement park that has the third fastest roller coaster in the country.I got to go with some people too. Me Anne Mae, Jack, Jonathan, Mason, Alison, Olle, Davis, and my mom. It is a very cool amusement park. My favorite part was the Mr. Freeze ride. Jonathan said, “Mr. Freeze was his favorite too”.
Over the summer Megan and I went to Wisconsin with her family . It was an outstanding trip with my best friend. We went to many different places and got all kinds of things. We stayed for 6 days. We stayed in a cabin on Lake Twin.
Last summer before school started my sister and I were told that we were going on a trip to Ute Lake in New Mexico. We had never been to New Mexico before, so we were super excited. We were told that we were taking my dad's cousin's jet ski with us. My sister and I could not wait to go to New Mexico.
At some point during the vacation we rode on a train that was called “journey through the gorge” if I recall correctly. On the train, they had a train-car where you could stand outside and look at the gorge surrounding us on all sides. The ride was amazing (at least to my seven-year-old self it was). We saw mountain goats, bungee jumpers, ate popcorn, talked, and I played around with the conductor hat my mother bought me. At the end of the day we all had a great time and made many
The plane ride was only about eights hours long and I was asleep the whole time. When we landed in Puerto Penasco, the sun was stars where reflecting beautifully above the calm ocean. The zip line line went from the hotel to another hotel about 11 miles away and 150 feet in the air. Cody and I would always beg our parents to take us to zipline in the mountains until they gave up and finally say yes.
We were in the car for 3hr,and at the 2hr we were driving we stopped at mcdonalds, and then we got back in the car and bought a horse.cant wait to go back next year.
I is for In South Carolina. Last summer me and my family went on vacation to myrtle South Carolina. It was a lot of fun we for to see the ocean for the second time. It took us 19 hours to get there. We stopped at some cool places on the way there. One place we stopped at was a cave it was a 2 mile walk for there through the cave and back. Once we got to Myrtle beach we took some of our stuff Into the hotel. Then my mom, brother, dad and got our passes to go out on the pier. We first went out onto the pier and then we went down to the ocean. We spent all day there and then we ate at the restaurant on the pier entrance.
The next day we wanted to head out early so we could make it to Colorado and have time to see some sites and visit my aunt and uncle. After we said thanks for letting us stay with my Aunt Alks and Uncle Pinakin's house, we were on our way. I wasn't really looking forward to the drive ahead because I remember how long it was the first time I had to make the trip, and it gets uncomfortable. The only thing I like when we go to Colorado is that we lose an hour. This was probably the most boring trip on our journey because most of the land we traveled was in Nebraska and it was flat and plain. There was nothing really significant about this trip until we got to Colorado. Flat land changed into mountains and country turned into city. That part of it was really interesting because it was like we could see the invisible line separating Colorado and Nebraska. It took us a little while to find my aunt in Golden, Colorado because the directions were a little hard to follow. I guess no one wanted to see anything because almost as soon as we were
We were in the middle of the desert, basically having no sense of direction whatsoever. Riding down the coastline of a twenty-mile island off the coast of Venezuela. Not knowing where to go was an issue but my brother, Ben, and I were on the ATV zooming through the desert seeing various attractions throughout the trip. Watching animals run everywhere, experiencing the views of little beaches with huge waves it was like a dream come true.
