I have chosen to spend the next four years of my life in college simply because I want to have a steady job and be successful throughout the course of my life. By going to college I can refine my skills in the area of work in which I would like to pursue. College is a good experience because you can meet people from a large variety of places and cultures. You also learn life lessons about living under a roof where your parents aren’t there to do everything for you.
Although I plan on going to college to choose what I would like to do later in life, I plan on joining some branch of the military first. After my service I would like to settle down and start a family while putting my college experience to use by starting my career. As of
First of all, college is just a great thing to experience you learn more, and you're more educated about what you really want to do so you don’t walk into your job not knowing what the hell you’re doing because that’s just embarrassing, another reason that college helps is their are higher job opportunities and it would be more likely that you would get the job if you went to college compared to you trying to apply and you haven’t gone
I decided to go to college because I believe that education is an important part of life and that being educated has many advantages. Like many, one of the biggest reasons for deciding to attend college is to create a better future for myself. Being a first-generation college student my parents have implanted on me the importance of college education, as it is something they wish they would have done themselves. As the first of four children to go to college, I feel that it is my responsibility to be a good example to my younger siblings, and show them that it is important to have goals in life and to better yourself as a person through education. I understand that an university education may not be for everyone, but it felt like the right choice for me. What I hope to get out of college is a life-changing experience, not only to get a better education, but to find something I am truly passionate about. I think it is important when choosing a career or a major to find something your heart truly wants and not just a career that will make you able to afford expensive things. I also hope that somewhere along the path to graduation and adulthood, I find myself as a person and develop ideas, opinions, and to be able to approach the world with an

College is a chance to further the education of most teens and adults in the modern world. Many people have the choice to enter college after high school or go later in their lives. Both of my parents made separate choices but both turned out to be very successful in their lives. College is a really tough decisions that could be beneficial in most cases because you do happen to get paid more money with a college degree. My mom chose to go to high school to continue her education in the medical field and it eventually paid off, getting out of student loans and having a lot of money to get the needs and wants of my family. My father chose to use his skills and the trades he learned to work and make money to support him and my mom, and he still continues to work using the trades he learned growing up. Both had different opinions on college and made their decisions according to the way they have been raised and their environment. Everyone’s environment and ideas is one of the largest influences in going to college because they shape every decision that you have ever made and really effect your future. My decision had been made to go to college to make my future much better
There are a lot of factors that tend to influence people to go to college such as getting a
College is going to allow me to be able to follow this dream. I think that college will prepare me for the real world better than high school. In high school I was really not independent but in college I am on my own to make my own decisions. All choices and consequences are all up to
A reason why I chose to go to college was to find a good job. People who do not go to college end up with a job they do not like. With college, I can choose the field of work I enjoy, unlike being forced to work in a field of work just to make ends meet. For example, my field of study is an electronic engineer. Without college, I cannot achieve that goal. Therefore, I would have to sell myself short.
Attending college has been one of my goal setting because it would take me to the next level in life in order for me to be a successful person. Also, others around the world do not have the same education that I have and to not attend college means I would be throwing something away that others would like to have. One person that has motivated me was my mother because she had to drop out of middle school to go help her parents with work and pushes me to go beyond my limits.
There are plenty of reasons why I decided to attend college. First of all, my father's encouraging words made me want to be successful in school. Every night during my senior year of high school, my father would sit me down and emphasize how important it is to attend college. Spending the last year feeling as though he was forcing me to do something I wasn’t quite sure about. The night I realized graduation was coming up, is the night I dedicated my next four years to college. I would attend Dixie State University and be successful. Another reason attending college is to get out of my comfort zone, and experience new things. Spending a lot of time staying at home or just hanging out with the few close friends that
I would like to go to college because it would help prepare my future for whatever profession I choose. I’m going to take classes that will help me succeed in my desired career. For example, if I want to be an engineer, it’s not necessary to take history classes in college because engineering is based on math and science. If I were to be a historian, then I would consider taking history classes. Another reason I would like to go to college is because people are given greater job opportunities with a college education and
Do you know that the average cost of graduate business school master’s is between $20,000-100,000? Deciding to go to graduate school can be a challenging process for most professionals given all the time, effort, though, cost, and planning which is involved in preparing for graduate business school. Also, trying to find an AACBS accredited school within my budget; with a good ranking is a pivotal factor in deciding which graduate school to attend. However, given all the challenges; I am ready to embark on this journey to complete my Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), so I may complete my primary goal of opening my own school and or a secondary career goal of becoming a well round business professional if I
Many different people go to college for many different reasons, some people wanting to become doctors or lawyers, others in sports or sometimes just for fun. When thinking more personally I feel like college for me is to find myself. Somewhere where I can become physically and emotionally ready to become an adult and be able to stabilize myself.
My decision on coming to college came from a variety of different reasons. One of the main reasons that I choose to come to college was not only based upon me always being told that I needed to go to college, but because I felt that it was a fundamental asset in my life to become successful. Furthermore, I have always viewed college as a great opportunity for diversity in addition to also being a pronounced place to further my education. Some of the experiences that influenced my decisions in high school to attend college came from my teachers. The majority of my teachers always stressed the importance of college with the importance of furthering your education. Correspondingly, the process of being able to go through the entire four years
It is easy to view college as a necessity to land a great job after you graduate. I always thought going to college was something that I needed to do, everyone that I associate with has gone to college, so I should be the same. During this last year, the question why do I want to has been something that I have thought about thoroughly. I am a curious student, I enjoy learning about new inventions, ideas, and methods and figuring out how these things work, and how I can improve upon them. I want to go to college so I can learn about the subjects that interest me, mainly being mechanical and civil engineering, math and science, so that I will have the tools and, mainly, mentality and knowledge to succeed.
