Being organized is benefiting to me when keeping track of my funds. I emphasize my need to keep track of when I spend money and what I save. Keeping my money organized relieves the stress of wondering what I will do when I need to pay for something in the future, such a college. I always make sure I have money available. Schoolwork is also an area where I need to be organized. In order to be confident with a new day of school, I need to know what homework I have done, and what needs to be done. To me, being organized creates confidence that benefits me every day when I am faced with a new
Before glancing at the steps to achieve a goal it is crucial to organize a goal plan. One of the methods to organize a goal plan is using the DAPPS principle. The DAPPS principle makes certain a goal is dated, achievable, personal, positive, and specific. Dating a goal is securing that each goal includes a deadline regarding when it has to be achieved. By not dating a goal the odds of actually reaching the goal are extremely slim. Making sure a goal is achievable implies not setting unrealistic goals. For example, when I was seven I set a goal to go to the moon by the time that turns eight. My goal wasn't very realistic/achievable, however, if I executed a goal of learning about the moon would have been an achievable goal. Personalising
Those who find it difficult to organize sometimes find themselves struggling with simple activities, and they usually have a higher stress level. “An organized person gives a much better business impression than someone who can't find a phone number, has an office piled with cardboard boxes or is always late for appointments” (Gracia) . One action that you can take to become more organized is to plan your day to day routine. Also, there are numerous training programs and books that are catered specifically to developing these important skills. The benefits to being an organized person are numerous, and will reap great rewards in every aspect of life. In my current profession, as an administrative assistant I assist over 30 physicians. Therefore, I have to be extremely organized. It is vital that I do not keep a messy office as I would get very stressed and lose track of important information. Also, in my opinion, it does not look very professional when your office is cluttered or you always looking for things. I have a system in place to make sure my desk is free from clutter. Even though I have not yet to perfect my organization skills, I feel that continuing to develop great organization skills will allow me to be more effective and efficient in the professional world.
Just as Benson says, goals can help get us what we want because they are marks for what we want to accomplish. Later, Benson adds the principles for creating an efficient goal. Benson states "The five principles of effective goal setting include: clarity, challenge, commitment, measurable progress, and task complexity" (10). This shows that setting good goals is important for success because this is what makes up a good goal. For example, if one were to say “I want to start running” as a goal, it would not be achievable.
Everyday I demonstrate all 5 parts of character. I believe that everyone should be a leader and do what they believe in and not let anybody stop them from striving and doing good things. I always put others needs before mine and will help anybody or anything. I always turn things in on time and do my work. I don’t believe in last minute work, so I try to finish all my schoolwork as soon as I possibly can.
Great goals are well-defined and focused. “Obtain two new billion dollar corporate clients in the Boston property insurance market” is more meaningful to mobilize your team than “Get more business.” Ryan Blair, The Goals Guy eloquently states,"Focus creates a powerful force: goal power. The moment you focus on a goal, your goal becomes a magnet, pulling you and your resources toward it. The more focused your energies, the more power you
In my last essay I went over my personality color, and now I am going over my personality type. Whilst also comparing how I view myself compared with other people viewing me. Also in my last essay, I ended with a small foreshadow suggesting that I am a ‘golden’ ‘defender’. In my test taking spree, I have taken yet another personality test, this test, however, is more specific on who you are. It categorizes you into 16 ‘types’ instead if 4 different colors. This gives you a more accurate description of what you are, however, these are just tests and are not always accurate they do not know you and will not tell you what you are unless you answer truthfully. Throughout this essay, I will make several comparisons on what I chose, what other people chose for me (how they viewed me), and about the tests.

I have never really thought about specific strategies used to help me achieve personal goals before reviewing this posting. On the contrary, my husband is the type of person who writes out goals and has a one year, two year and five year plan (this is actually how I figured out when he would propose because he had them written on his mirror and goal 2 was my ring size). He talks about his goals long term whereas I am a very short term thinker. I thought I was the opposite in terms of goal setting, because I felt I pursued them without real definition of the path. My reality however is different because I also have steps to achieving my goals, but they aren’t always in black and white (or written on the mirror). I am the type of person who says she is going to do something and then just does
As a requisite to write my feature paper, I interviewed Emma Ann Davey, who’s an eighth grade student at Vilas Middle School. Davey, born on February 25, 2004 at the local Keene hospital, Dartmouth on an early Wednesday morning at 4:30am. She describes herself as organised she thinks of herself as organized because, “I organize all my stuff and my room everyday, I can't sleep in my room if it's a mess.” Being organized can be a difficult task for some but for others is a habit. A highly used website called Merriam-Webster Dictionary, states that being organized is, “having a formal organization to coordinate and carry out activities.” Being an organized person overall can help you in the lang run.

A successful person chooses goals to achieve something that is of great value and importance to them. This in turn motivates the person to achieve the goal because when the desired outcome is very important to a person, that person will be determined to persevere. Goal setting also improves a person 's organizational and time management skills because goal setting requires prioritization and that leads to the successful and sequential completion of necessary tasks. Once a person defines and prioritizes goals a plan should be drawn out detailing how this goal will be achieved. Goals and the time-line for their completion should be clearly defined, it is also important that a person 's
