Abstract This paper will discuss the many issues, both good and bad with respect to how a leadership, transitional leadership style to be specific, can help support and/or hinder team development. The paper will present some of the factors that influence leadership and the effects that a transitional leadership can have on the overall development of team growth in the business sector. The method chosen is done in an effort to provide the reader with overall informative information on the subject matter and highlight the “pros” and “cons” of each question bringing this writer to the conclusion of findings pertaining to the topic material.
