The first artefact for my portfolio is Assignment 2 in Mdde 602, titled: Analyzing Quantitative Data. Part two of this assignment included an Excel spreadsheet which displayed the data. Microsoft Excel contains many useful features that I have learned about in my Unit 3 readings. The first would be customizing the quick access toolbar. Utilizing the backstage view by clicking the file tab, you can access a workbook’s options via the options tab. Here you can select Quick Access Toolbar and customize the options you would like to show. You can view the most popular commands, or a range of other options filtered by tab, or specific function. You can then add or remove the commands you wish to appear. I have added different commands like the camera tool, the SUM formula, and set print area. These are some of my go-to functions that I want to quickly access and this process saves me multiple “clicks” with each Excel session.
