Google is ranked high among large companies by its consumers. (Independent.ie) Google has made it a priority to focus its employees and to create a positive work environment. By making the perks and benefits of working for Google known to the public, consumers have a positive perception of the company, making them more likely to use Google as their search engine. Although technology is an important to Google’s success it has gone beyond that create a positive image in the consumer’s eye. It has realized that treating employees well is the key to gaining more of the market share. Reputation is important for companies like Google because once consumers associate a positive connotation with Google, they will always go to that particular website for whatever he or she needs. This proves that Google has been successful in creating brand loyalty due to their positive corporate image.
Another resource that has aided in Google’s success is its ability to have the most current technology to make its search engine the fastest and most convenient for consumers. The key to its success in terms of technology is innovation. Google is constantly working to refine the search engine to make it more efficient for consumers.
