Throughout the process of completing my academic studies, The BSN program has given me a solid foundation toward pursuing graduate studies. My focus is on the elder adults and broadening my professional knowledge and experience in the professional study of nursing. Some specific areas and courses are, palliative, adult critical care, Critical Care Nursing of older adults, and Introduction to Gerontology I have completed. This passions I have for pursing future graduate studies has grown and evolved in to my fundamental goal in life. I will use this determination to propel my career to a higher academic standard in the profession of nursing.
I work every day on expanding my knowledge so I can hopefully maintain my commendable GPA of 4.98. I am currently in all advanced core classes and I am willing to do anything I can to maintain an A in these classes. My academic excellence is very important to me because I am hoping to have a successful career as a Pediatric Pulmonologist. Thus meaning that I will need to go to medical school. I am hoping if I push myself enough now, I will be able to get a portion of my schooling paid for. I enjoy learning, I desire to learn as much as I can while I am still student of Lampasas High
For the past few years I have aced all my classes and dutifully earned myself all A’s consecutively. I plan on continuing this accomplishment as a freshman and throughout my four years of high school. I’m not just getting straight A’s to give myself a pat on the back and free ice cream, but to reward myself the satisfaction of being able to go to college and reach a goal that would give me a deeper purpose in life and a clearer view of my path for the future. I have also engaged myself in community service, extra credit, and I am preparing

I feel that my GPA is not indicative of my current academic strength. During the first two years at the University of Illinois, I struggled to adapt to a new education system and a different cultural environment. However, in the following years, I excelled within the classroom. Despite originally declaring myself as a General Management major, I pushed myself to take more data driven electives. As a result, I was able to graduate with an additional Business Process Management major.
I grew up alongside the wild Rocky Mountain Columbines, where the air is crisp and the winters are long. I spent my time engaging in the arts such as acting, writing, and creating. From a young age I was drawn to the world of imagination and found happiness through producing art. We all face and over come challenges within our lives and whenever I am faced with hardship I find comfort in visually expressing myself.
Growing up in a small town, with the knowledge of a small town community can have an effect on you. Having the respect and dignity to know between right and wrong adds and interesting aspects into a life style. Growing up in a small community makes you realize what it is like to have small class rooms and having your teachers know you by a first name basis.Knowing everyone on each sport team because “everyone knows everyone in a small town”. I had the ability to be able to ride my bike down the street without a real question of my safety where I grew up in Worland Wyoming. I have different academic interests than others may, I enjoy different extracurricular activities than other students, and life experiences that are unlike anyone else that have shaped me into who I am today.
I feel greatly honored to be considered to be a part of National Honor Society. Being a part of NHS will help me grow as a leader and as an overall person. As H. Jackson Brown Jr. once said “The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today”. I try to live by this quote by doing everything in my power to shape my future to be successful, and joyous. This mean getting involved in my community, staying active, joining a handful of clubs, and striving for high academic achievements.
Nursing professionals assist their patients with the use of clinical judgement and medical care to guarantee patients will either retain or improve their health so they can attain the best quality of life possible. I have made the decision to devote myself to this occupation because of the optimal role that nurses play in improving the health and lives of others. This profession is rewarding and appealing because it provides many responsibilities, challenges, financial security, and job security. Currently I am working toward receiving a Bachelors of Science in Nursing to become a Registered Nurse. One of the steps that I have to complete in order to receive this degree include applying for the full Nursing Program following the fall semester. To guarantee my acceptance, I have accumulated a 4.0 GPA throughout my freshman year and I have also worked very hard to excel within sciences courses such as Anatomy and Physiology. I will continue to work diligently in the future to guarantee acceptance into the program and also success while I am in the program. Not until I
I would like to take the time to explain my spring 2014 GPA of my freshman year to the Admissions Committee. I do not intend to make excuses, but I do wish to provide context in the hopes of showing that this aspect of my transcript is a mere aberration, and is not indicative of my ability or discipline. This GPA resulted from neither the aggressive down-curving policy of NYU Stern nor any of the “usual” hardships experienced when one attends a competitive school; rather, a perfect storm of four distinct issues led to my obtaining an un-characteristically low GPA of 2.8 that semester: seasonal depressive disorder, intense heartbreak after the unexpected demise of my first long-term relationship, a family financial emergency, and an exceptionally
In order to reach this goal, I must first enter the Towson University Nursing Program for the fall of 2018. I am currently a sophomore at Towson University. My current GPA is a 3.67. I am also a member of the Honors College, Latin-X Club, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. During
As I begin to prepare myself for entering college life, there are a few concepts I plan to keep a focus on in my life so that I may be able to be a positive influence and bright feature on campus.
My interest for science blossomed as a child, my mom is a lab technician and going to her job and seeing them learn all these astonishing things about a person from a simple tube of blood blew me away. In middle school I went to a STEM school, The Academy for Science and Design in order to allow that passion to grow, and from there I have participated in multiple science related research projects that I have been able to bring with me to national level competitions. In addition, in high school I am taking AP level science classes, such as AP Biology, in order to expand my knowledge. Soon I plan on starting to volunteer at the community hospital for an opportunity to gain real world experience in the scientific field. The thing I take most pride
I have chosen a business related course as I have been interested in this field from GCSE level & I believe that I have the qualities to forge a successful career in this area. I have been inspired to fulfil this path by my Uncle, a director at a successful company in England
