Greetings, Mr. Cittadino, Dr. Simon, Dr. Londregan, Mrs. Ziemba, Board of Education, teachers, family, friends, and honored guests. It is my pleasure and honor to be speaking on the behalf of the Carl Sandburg Middle School 2018 graduating class. To my fellow graduates, I cannot believe that middle school is already over. It seems just like a very short dream; it seems like yesterday we were stepping into the building for the very first time as 6th graders. I could not have asked for a better group of peers to leave middle school with. From being cooped up in a room all morning during NJSLA-S testing together and going a little crazy, to experiencing the beautiful, unlimited wilderness that we saw on the Fairview trip, I would not have any of the amazing memories I have without you guys. Eleanor Roosevelt said “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” If every student here believes in the beauty of their dreams, and does everything in their power to achieve them while seeing the beauty in them, what this class will do in the future will be absolutely breathtaking. …show more content…
Whether certain people are just acting ridiculous, or a teacher says something funny, we could always count on somebody to make us laugh. Each and every one of us appreciate what each and every single teacher did for us. Whether we were going stir crazy in the PARCC rooms all day, or just roaming around the school in between classes, somebody could always make the room start cracking up; even the teachers! Some of the teachers even have better senses of humor than the students! Even if we are just sitting in class having a discussion, you could always count on somebody to do something stupid. If that person's dream was to be a comedian, they definitely saw the beauty in their dream even if it wasn't always in the most appropriate place or
So … snaps fingers … wow! This is a lot of people. Well, first off, congratulations everyone; you all made it this far. Hopefully you will be able to make through this speech. According to page ten of the Chisago Lakes High School Student Handbook, all of you have earned at least 28 credits in a variety of disciplines throughout the last four years. And for those English nerds out there, I do have a properly formatted works cited page if you would like to fact-check me. Don’t worry.
Good afternoon fellow classmates, beloved family members, wonderful staff of Palm Beach Lakes Community High School, and dedicated Palm Beach County School Board Members!
High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.

Welcome to Mt. Edgecumbe High School! Coming here, far away from home may be nerve-racking, but you just got accepted to one of the best schools in Alaska. Not everyone who applied got accepted, which is why you shouldn’t take this opportunity for granted. Attending MEHS, Mount Edgecumbe High School, is way different from being at home; for instance, you’re not living with your parents anymore and you have to teach yourself to be independent. This may seem frightening, but by coming here you can get a better education than from where you live, which is why I encourage you to stay all four years. Since you’re a MEHS Brave now, I am going to tell you some things that I personally like and dislike about MEHS. I will also tell you what to expect while you’re
The announcement calling all of the students to the gym rings through the staticky PA system of Ansel Parker Elementary School. Today is the day that Miguel Adriano would be here. Yes, THE Miguel Adriano. The world famous soccer star and multimillionaire will be here giving a speech. Most kids would be excited. But, let’s just say that the mothers of these kids would rather be meeting Miguel than the kids.
During the last three years of my attendance here at Mt. Edgecumbe High School, I could not think of a teacher who has influenced me more than yourself. You’ve taught me to not only appreciate music, but to appreciate life. I’ve spent a total of four semesters in your Choir class and one semester in your Accounting class. We’ve traveled to two music festivals through Choir class, which are two of my most memorable experiences here in MEHS. I’ve also been apart of the MEHS award-winning Radio Club under your supervision. You’ve certainly witnessed my development as a maturing adult. It would be an honor to have a letter of recommendation from a teacher like yourself. Thank you for making my high school years enjoyable. If you choose to write
Thomas Jefferson High School welcomes a new addition to the English department, Jennifer Stephenson. Stephenson, who student taught with former English teacher and current CCT teacher, Matthew Santambrogio, now teaches Honors Introduction to Literature (Intro to Lit) and Composition and AP Language and Composition. “Ms. Stephenson definitely has a passion about the subject,” commented Santambrogio, “she is really involved and she is really cognizant of what she is teaching.”
Hello everyone! My name's Ally Ward and I'm a senior at South Stanly High School. Currently I'm taking CCP courses with SCC, so that I'll have two years under my belt when I start college. I plan to attend Gardner-Webb University this Fall and major in English with a teaching license. After I receive my major I plan to get my doctorate in English and then get a job as an English professor. I also love to read, shoot archery, ride horses, and spend time with my family.
Foothill is a high school were we value the traditions of respecting our staff members and we would like to thank our new staff members of Foothill High School for giving us the time to answer our questions. We welcome you with open arms to this fantastic community and hope that your goals for this new school year are accomplished.
Be ready because 7th grade is going to be a wild ride! Be ready for tests, projects, and assignments galore! And on those assignments, just read them. I know, I know, everyone just skips to the questions and looks for the answers in the passage but in 7th grade it’s just better to read it. The teachers know, its like they have a 6th sense! As far as the cafeteria, the food is probably going to be the same, so just plug your nose and maybe the food will go down without a fight! When you’re going to gym, RUN! Well, don’t actually run, you might get in trouble and I would be to blame, but, seriously walk as fast as you can. You need to be there before anyone else so that you can change in a shower stall and be done with it. Adding to that, BRING
Welcome to Columbia Heights High School! We look forward to meeting all of you as you begin your high school career. We are excited to have you become part of the Hylander family and grow academically, emotionally and socially over the next four years. Our core values at CHHS means we Keep it REAL: which stands for Respect, Education, Attitude, and Loyalty. We hope you can attend one of our Open Houses to prepare you to begin the school year well. We are encouraging all incoming Freshmen to attend the open house on August 31st from 4pm-7pm but they may also come to the open house on Tuesday August 29th from 2pm-5pm to receive the same information. Both of the open house will take place in
Good afternoon my fellow classmates thank you for joining me on this journey through life. I thought there would be nothing more appropriate than to share twelve things I’ve learned over the twelve years here at Putnam city. So number 1 was in first grade I learned to always listen to your teacher.
Good evening distinguished guests, administrators, faculty, family and friends, and most importantly the class of twenty eighteen.
The DASH I hope to leave behind me would be meaningful and significant if I could make an impact on this humble, close-knit community of Horn Lake. For my actions to be remembered, it would indicate that I truly made a difference in the town in which I grew up; and after having forged the greatest friendships and memories for which I could ask here, leaving a mark of me would be an honor. This is why, as I embark on the next step of my life and head off to college, I have chosen to remain in Mississippi for my choice of school: I will not be straying far from my family, my friends, and the community I have known and with which been blessed my entire life.
