Hello Wolf Den,
I just want each of you all to know how much your help and knowledge is appreciated in our den. For those of you who do not know me. This is my first time running a den, however not my first time in Cub Scouts/ Boy Scouts. I look forward to watching our boys grow as scouts and as a den. We do need each boy in our den to attend meetings and work on things on scout track. With that said I have a few things to mention. First., Any parent is welcome to work on almost anything on Scout Track. I would like to see all parents complete Duty to God with your scout. This sometimes can be a very personal thing in each family. Let's all try to get this accomplished by the next meeting on the 30 as it is required for
I hope everyone had an amazing Troop “Boot-Camp” and Leadership weekend. I want to thank all the adults that were able to oversee and guide. Now moving away from this weekend, I am here to primarily talk about my Eagle Scout project.
Yesterday marked the ending of 4 LONG years! Through all the mistakes and hardships I've faced, I can proudly say I finally made it! I am so excited to start college in the Fall to Bethune-Cookman University on a full tuition scholarship. I am extremely proud of all my classmates and so thankful for my family and friends. Thank you God for this opportunity many don't get to enjoy. I can't wait to see all God has in store for me!
High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.
Here Me Roar today I would like to speak about is all of the killings by the police or people killing police. Its just starting to go over board its happening everyday it seems like and its just to much. First you here about Innocent kid gets killed by the police then like after two weeks you here about a good police officer getting killed by some gang or something it just need to stop. But in my opinion I think it all starts with the police they have killed so many kids lately and they also killed a guy by chocking him because they were being over aggressive. I'm not trying to put all the blame on the police but they don't really help there self's on what they have been doing and I'm not trying to put the blame on every police officer because
Hi, I am Matthew Schuettpelz I’m a 8th grader at JR Gerritts middle school. Have you ever sat down and thought about. If there was not an Airforce, Military or Navy to name a few. Our country would not be like it is today. We have so many freedoms, we never think about the others that don’t have those same freedoms. This is all thanks to everyone that was or is still in the armed forces. Some of the gifts that have been given to our generation are. The freedom to get a great education, The right to do the legal process, and the freedom to choose what you want to do with your life These are just some of the many gifts the Men and Women that have served have given to my generation.
I hope you and your acquaintances are doing well. Yesterday I remembered that you mentioned that you drove from Cypress! Please be safe. There is so much water everywhere.
I have been a Girl Scout for the entire part of my life that I can remember. Because my mother started a troop before I was even old enough to join, my life has always had something to do with badges, sashes, cookies, and awards. There was just so much to do as a scout. I earned my Silver Award, sold cookies, camped out, acted in informational videos, planned events for our service unit, and rocked the Mall in Washington DC. It was for that reason that I jumped at the chance to join the Girl Scouts’ Girl Advisory Board, lovingly referred to as GAB.
I dance 20 hours a week, and found it very hard to keep up with my school work. Many other students have the same problem with their after school activity. If we didn’t have the option of attending a K12 high school, there would be fewer up and coming athletes in the world. In this essay, I am going to tell you why it is a good idea to have a transfer offer from public high school to online high school. There can also be many issues that teens face in completing their school work on time, and correctly. Some students do not have time to do their work in the best effort and skills that they can do, which brings their grade and self-esteem down in a flash if they do one thing incorrectly. Some students do not have time to do school work at
Hey Oscar, thanks for congratulating me on my graduation it truly means a lot. I’m happy that I can finally call myself a former Wildcat lol. I really turned things around the last two semester earning a 4.0 and 3.5 GPA’s. I’m finally beginning to discover how easy school actually is which has made college much more fun. While school has been a bit of a journey I’m pushing through it one day at a time to make not only for myself but also for everyone around me. I’m at Wayne State now studying Public Relations and I’m really loving it, I should have another degree on my mantel by the time you get out in 2018. You know we will help Daisha stay on track so that she can make you an even prouder father than you already are. It’s good to hear that you were able to see Mary and the kids I know that lifted both yours and their spirits.
The Great Being saith and I quote: “Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can, alone, cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom”.
High school ended, as well as summer. I was on the plane ride back from vacation to start college. I was in the tight and rigid economy section, while my sister, my father’s only princess, was enjoying herself in the luxury of business class. But that wasn’t the issue. I can’t say that I was fueled with excitement starting this new chapter in my life. I mean why would I be, I was on the honor role all of high school, took Ap’s, captain of all sports, manager, president of the student athletic council, I was even an assistant to the principle for large school events, and yet I couldn’t get into the school that I was most interested in, the Grove School of Engineering.
Some people have asked to read the commencement address I delivered this morning to the 2013 graduates of Butler University. So here it is.
I have been going to school since I was four years old and, that means that I have been attending school twenty to twenty two years, including kindergarten, middle school, high school and now college. As every student, I had my ups and downs in school; I had some failures and some successes. One of the failures that affected me the most and that I will always remember was the time that I was in high school during my junior year. I failed almost all my classes and, I only passed two classes and with a C. In the other hand I had some really good success. The most recent one and the one that I am still happy about is getting my Family Development Credential. We learn from our mistakes and also from our successes, these two times in my life
because we aer now all trying ot compete against one another. We are not trying to
Have you ever wondered what changed and remained the same about yourself, mentally and physically, during your high school career? Change in mentality throughout high school is such a popular topic that terms such as "senioritis" exsist in attempts to explain the change in mentality throughout the start and end of a student 's time during high school. Also, on the physical side, many people find the changes that happen to their bodies in the duration of the four years extreme. For example, some people might start Freshman year around five feet tall with little to no muscles, but they may graduate high school around six feet tall and find themselves benching 275 pounds. In high school, many things change and stay the same such as your mentality towards academics and your physical body.
