Hi Kayla! While I am not from Washington, I have lived here for the past five years, in addition to the two years I lived here from 2007 through 2009, so Washington feels more like home than where I am actually from. I too, hope to teach one day, though I know I do not have the patience to teach Elementary! Good luck to you in this class and in finishing your
The final seconds of a cross country meet when you are sprinting down the straight away, looking at the finish line, trying to beat just one more person, is one of the most mentally and physically exhausting moments I’ve ever encountered. In the Fall of 2014 things just clicked with our girls cross country team. Winning Bi-county, Conference, Sectional, and advancing to Regional and Semi-state, was unexpected to everyone around us. Losing five of our seven varsity runners the year before got us moved from our small school rank of 3rd to 13th. Getting moved ten spots on that list motivated us even more to prove to everyone what we could do without those graduated seniors.
“At fifty everyone has the face he deserves” (Orwell). With these being his last words, I believe Orwell was trying to explain that you make who you will become, and with this there is a point of no return. In relation to communism this “point” is communistic rule. This dictatorship can often be expressed differently depending on the advocate's ideas, feelings, and views on social status.
High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.
Greetings to you all! I am Erika Kennedy. I currently live in Georgia where I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years and I don't consider it a job, but my purpose in life. I enjoy what I do and count it as a privilege to be able to make a difference in the lives of students and families where I am invested. Honestly, as I considered my next steps in my career, somehow I always knew that I was destined to do more than just that of a classroom setting. Others often encouraged me to step up more in the area of leadership, however, I sat back waiting for my turn to take the lead. Soon I realized that I didn't have to wait on others to push me into the position that I desired, but that I can set my own career path. Staying
I have been teaching in Tipton County for 8 years. I teach Algebra 2 at Covington High. I love what I do and I enjoy making a difference in students' lives. I am married and have a 1-year-old and her name is Taylor. She turns 2 on December 24th and she keeps me busy. I am currently enrolled in the leadership program because I wish to be an assistant principal at some point in my career. I am confident that my education and experience will make me a successful leader one day.
Hey, remember when Donald Trump was a nice person? Yeah, me neither. I find him being a presidential candidate is a joke. I’ve known him since June and he has shown me nothing but his true personality. As time goes by, I feel like I get to know the real side of him. Let me introduce you who he is. Donald Trump is a man who is passionate about his job, determined, immature, obnoxious, disrespectful, arrogant, ignorant, racist, sexist, selfish, inconsiderate and a rapist. Not only that, but he has impossible plans for the future if he ever entered presidency, but he does not know how to achieve them. Donald Trump shouldn't be the president because he is useless to us like how a bike is useless to a fish. Donald Trump is a fish bone in the throat,
I am very committed to becoming a teacher, and am caring and personable. I love helping others, which is why I want to become a teacher. I hope your summer breaks are all treating you well and I would like to give you a few updates on plans for the fall semester. I would like to apologize for the length of the email!
Where are you from: I'm from Iowa it can be very bland but I've learned to accept my home town. The weather is nice its not too cold during Winter nor too hot.
Eighty-seven years ago our founding fathers made a new country with liberty and the idea that everyone is equal.
Ever since preschool I always knew that I wanted to become a teacher. Now that the time has come, I am pursuing my dream of becoming one here at Kent State University Geauga.
I have been going to school since I was four years old and, that means that I have been attending school twenty to twenty two years, including kindergarten, middle school, high school and now college. As every student, I had my ups and downs in school; I had some failures and some successes. One of the failures that affected me the most and that I will always remember was the time that I was in high school during my junior year. I failed almost all my classes and, I only passed two classes and with a C. In the other hand I had some really good success. The most recent one and the one that I am still happy about is getting my Family Development Credential. We learn from our mistakes and also from our successes, these two times in my life
Being an elementary school teacher has always been my dream. English is not my mother-tongue, so getting along with other children, communicating with teachers, and learning the material was difficult at first. Mrs. DeZwaan, my English Second Language teacher from first grade to third grade, helped me to learn the English language quickly and efficiently. Since then on, my dream was to become a teacher like her-- one who can easily communicate with the student and can make learning fun and enjoyable. In my
To start off, I am nineteen years old soon to be twenty and a sophomore studying Elementary Education at Southeastern. I have a brother, mom, dad, stepdad, and stepsister. I still live with my parents for the time being with two dogs and a cat. We all live in Central, and this is where I was raised. I have never lived outside of this city. When I graduate I would love to still live here and possibly teach in Central if a job is available. I work at a frozen yogurt place also in Central called Menchies mostly on the weekends to make some money. In my free time, I love to read, hangout with the few friends I have, or spend time with my family. I am a simple person to understand and very easy to get along with. Since I have lived in Central my whole life, I was here before it was a city. I think this helps me see the difference in how the schools have worked and I could bring this experience with me. I also have been around kids for most of my life and still babysit from time to time. My aspirations as a teacher are simple, I want to make a difference in a child’s life. I want to know that they have learned something from me whether it was academic or not. This is partly why I want to teach because I want to make a difference but also because I love kids. I love being around them and seeing them interact with each other.
Egypt was an ancient civilisation found in the northern Africa. Like many early civilizations, it developed along a river, that being the Nile River. It was important that it developed along a river such as the Nile because it provided water for agriculture and drinking, which were necessary for survival in a permanent settlement or civilization. South of Egypt was the civilization of Nubia, or Kush. This was important to Egypt’s culture because the back-and-forth conquering of each other that went on led to the integration of one another’s culture. Egypt adopted Nubian traditions and vice versa.
