Ah, life eh? Hello Class of 2012.
There are so many things to say to you. I feel so privileged to get to speak to everyone, and there is so much to say. We have come to this point in our lives that many have come to before us. I almost feel like I have done it already, having watched people grow up and graduate before. But now today it is our turn to really do it. To walk this aisle, to sit in the seats, and to play with these tassels.
It seems like so long ago and it seems like just yesterday, those perils of adolescence. Brier Terrace Middle School, just seething with awkwardness and emotions, was where I spent most of my days, chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool, playing some b-ball outside of my school. One of my most

In other activities, we have all made names for ourselves. Athletically, many have achieved incredible things. People have gone to state meets and tournaments, lettered in varsity sports and maybe even have been named team captain for a season or two. In our music and drama departments, students have excelled, securing coveted spots in our school's top bands, orchestras and choirs. Some have put their talents to work and gotten the lead in our school plays or been put in charge backstage making entire musicals go smoothly. All of the clubs at school have had students from our class named as presidents, editors or producers. Our class every year has had its very own government, naming people as our president, vice-president and so on.
So much has happened in our lives because of Green Terrace High School and what it has to offer. Individually, something there in that building formed who we are right now and what person we have become.
For everything we have accomplished and made of ourselves, there is so much to say. Our parents, whole families and friends are so proud of us, and we could go on and on about all that has been achieved by each one of us up to this point. If I could, I would like to talk about something else.
In the world that we live, titles and achievements mean everything. We get so caught up in proving ourselves worthy to be reckoned with and listened to that we go to
I am both honored and flattered to have been asked to speak for this wonderful occasion. As I started to draft this speech, I thought, “What is the world am I possibly going to say?” (The majority of you listen to me speak enough during the day.) The word SUCCESS came to mind.
WOW! So much has happened since June. The SV FFA and ag department had a rough start to our year losing three of our students who were on the FFA officer team to other schools. Even with this bump in the road, the four officers that remained visited Mt. Shasta City and had a blast bonding and learning more about each other at their officer retreat in August. Once school started we found three new officers and attended COLC (Chapter Officer Leadership Conference) where the entire team learned about their diverse leadership styles and were able to bond together as the official Surprise Valley FFA Chapter Officer Team for the 2017-2018 school year. If you see them around, congratulate President Cindy Hinze, V.P. Maddison Seely, Secretary Maya
On the first day of school, I was so confused and alone. I had no one to sit with at lunch, and I felt lost. I wasn’t used to the curriculum, or all the people I never knew existed. Townsend Junior High School was bigger than the small
That school was a weird school different from most regular middle school’s. I seemed to fit in real quickly though because that school made me who I am now. I went there from 6th to 8th grade, and there was some good times in the Charter School days. The thing I liked the most about that school is the dance class/singing class we has the best teacher his name was Mr. Blackburn he was both funny and serious, and made that class really fun. I learned how sew at the Charter School which was beneficial if I needed to sew something. There was a class called games class it was PE basically but we called it Games class. We played games like bunker ball which is the teacher is in a bunker with a certain amount and the students with one life. When I graduated at the Charter School we went to place in Carmel where the graduation had happened in. Everybody said there speeches, and when it was time for me to say my graduation speech all I said was I graduated to keep it short and sweet. While all of the others said some important memories they had at the Charter School. When they showed pictures of the past them I was there for a little bit then left to go eat at a chinese
I remember walking into Cedar Ridge for the first time, seeing new faces, new halls, but also seeing many opportunities and new things awaiting me. All of the welcoming teachers, principles, and staff stood door to door smiling and guided us in the right direction as we walked in circles trying to find our first English class. I was a cheerleader on the junior varsity squad, every girls “perfect” dream to starting high school.
Rockhurst High School. Fun. Enjoyable. Awesome. Sports. Spiritual. Brotherhood. Challenging. Stressful. Reflective. Satisfying. Loving. My favorite place.
After 13 years, it’s all come to an end. No more assignments, no more tests, no more uniform, no more school. To the majority of you, this fact probably still hasn’t really hit home yet, and to be honest, I don’t think that I’ve fully grasped this fact either. That soon, we will be stepping out of the relative safety of TSS and entering into a harsh, and unforgiving new world. But as we -the graduating class of 2016- step out into this new world, it is not as though TSS has not prepared us for this day.
Hello everybody, for me it is an honor and pleasure to be here with each one of you. Having this privilege of being here makes me realize that our successes are not only the things that we achieve, but also the things that we raise each day with the purpose of achieving it, and a good way is the path of education to improve ourselves and the world. Essentially education is the pathway to success for all Americans. And this is why more money needs to be funded to education, not less.
From the first ever day of Fort Hamilton High School to my senior year, I had changed so much. In the beginning, I was a nervous freshman with no friends and a horrible haircut, but now drama club became my life where I fit in a group crowded with fun broadway lovers, yet I still have a horrible haircut. Going from one year where I was very shy and Regents felt like that one awful friend that I somehow automatic befriended with to a year fill with stresses over college application mixed with comfort thanks to the beloving drama club. The school had shaped me into a person I wouldn't expect to become today and also impacted what I want to do in the future.
I am thankful for those who brought me here today and I will never forget for what things you helped me get through. I have shared some anecdotal examples of what it means to be a leader, to have creativity, and will to push myself to develop beyond perfection. I like the aspect of learning and philosophy, I find it most interesting to share a classroom with peers who discuss history or the future. Charter school is an amazing program, I’m glad I enrolled, it can be hard for people to attend a public school and juggle five classes at a time. However, I do wish i could have wrestled with my team and my brother while the season was still
It was an okay school but what made it great there was the people I met mostly my friend Emma. Since the first day of fourth grade we have been inseparable and we have shared so many memories together. Like in fifth grade we were put into a program with eight of the most intelligent kids in our class to do advanced math online, but to say that the math class turned into a fun class would be an understatement. The ten of us would roam around school playing ding-dong-ditch on classrooms. Other days, we would stay in the math room and finish our lessons then once we were done with the lessons we would play games like heads-up one-up, or mafia. But the real thrill was at recess when the two classes of fifth grade would compete against each other in capture-the-flag I could go on about that for days, but I am going to talk about sixth grade now that is when we started going to the bagel shop every thursday a tradition that hasn’t ended by the way. During the many trips and everything that has happened between those trips have strengthened me and have taught me things that I didn’t know I needed to know like best disney song to karaoke to, but essential life lessons everybody needs to learn in their
Throughout my time at Andalusia High School there are a variety of memories I can reflect on, and things I wish I would’ve done differently. The memories that made my time here very memorable were the ones spent with my friends, and taking interest in things that I never would’ve became fond of.
Well, this is it, the day all of us have been waiting for has finally arrived. It seems like only yesterday we were picking our noses and flicking them at innocent bystanders or yelling childish phrases like, "Liar, liar, pants on fire!" or, wait, that was yesterday. Never mind. Anyways.
Hello, we would like to welcome and thank all of you for being here with us tonight to celebrate our high school graduation . It truly is an honor to be surrounded by so many significant people who have impacted our lives immensely throughout our highschool years. We would like to thank the wonderful people here tonight that we have the privilege to call our parents.
