I am writing this letter today in regards of my readmission to Jackson State University. First and foremost, I would like to apologize to the University for the situation and the compromising I have put them in. This past year of my life has been filled with great and bad experiences. After my suspension, I came to a realization that not having a higher education is something I do not want to live without nor would I put it in jeopardy again.
Hey Lisa, My name is Eric Jefferson. This is my first semester at UMD and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I'm a transfer student from Prince Georges Community College and I would love to take your class next semester, but unfortunately I didn't have time to audition this week. Is it possible If I can audition for your class next tuesday
I am transferring for a variety of reasons. The most important reason is that I'm not happy where I am at right now. College is talked about as a place where you'll have to work hard, but also as a place where you'll have fun and experience new things and find out who you are. Yes, I've worked hard and yes, I've explored new things, but I'm not enjoying myself like I thought, I'm not happy where I am. The school I now attend doesn't offer me the opportunities that it promised me and the ones I am seeking. It is small and lacks ... Transferring is the best decision for me because I know that where I stand now I am not fulfilling my potential and I know that there is more out there for me to accomplish. I hope to gain not just an education,

- 17: I've been planning my college essay since freshman year. Seeing everything that happens as something I could write about; looking for some deeper theme in everything I've done or seen. This past year I've written countless drafts about dozens of experiences, and they've all felt forced. Because they were. And though I could have sent an essay with a hidden meaning I've concocted, I have decided to take a risk.
“Opportunities knock at the strangest times, it’s not the time that matters, but how you answer the door”. Gray, Steve. Brain Dash. For several years I’ve worked fast paced, time-consuming, high stress leveled jobs. Returning to college was always a thought but never realistic. Three months ago I was promoted to a position that provided me with the availability to explore my options and long-term goals in life. Considering all the outcomes the decision to return was simple. The fundamental education I receive from this experience, will be applied towards my future vocation and daily life. Time management, Self-motivation and Ideation are a few strengths I possess that will help me succeed. Lacking drive and focus I had a brief college experience
Hello Leslie, I am also going to transfer Cal State Long Beach too after Cypress College. For my opinion, working with kids is hard thing to do. That impressive you worked in Buena Park as a recreational leader and become psychology major. The thing is I lived in Cypress and right close to Buena Park. And I really like dogs, but I never had one and hope you becoming child psychologist
Being a transfer student, I want to contribute more than just academic strength at Baylor; I desire to share a unique journey filled with struggles and failures as a teenager. In the beginning of my college career, I struggled with a lot of aspects of my life from personal issues to family illnesses. Consequently, all of those factors took a toll on my academic abilities and by the age of 18, I had failed two semesters at my community college. I felt like a failure towards my family, but more importantly, myself. From my perspective now, I know that the mistakes I have made have put worthy people within my path. For example, I was put on Academic Probation by an academic counselor, little did I know that Mrs. Thompson would become one of the
I have two years left before my anticipated graduation date. My parents and family are unable to offer me any financial support, as they devote all of their time and money to the three foster children that they are caring for, and also my little sister. I work a part-time job with Eckardt Electric, but my pay there goes to my car payments, gas to drive the 155 total miles from home to work to school each day, and also to any food or other bills that I have. The one scholarship that I have received is going to pay for half of this upcoming summer semester tuition and fees, and the rest of the fees I will have to save for and also accept a student loan, if possible. I am working off of a really tight budget to get by every day so that I can save
Today is my last day at TKE as I am returning to the US next week. It has been a great pleasure working with you all and I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.
I apologize for missing your call. I need permission to register online for a winter course, (ACA-122-HIN 47111) College Transfer Success Online class.
Good evening citizens of America. Our nation has had it's fair share of up's and down's but we've always overcame them. The American people are experiencing trials and tribulations that we've never experienced before. Citizens are struggling with the low income they receive to feed their families. Farms aren't profuse with crops bringing frustration on farmers. However, I know that we can overcome the hardships that our nation faces. As your president I want to restore hope and trust within you all. I want to inform you that from now on things are going to change. Your dry desolate farms are going to be abundant with fruits and vegetables, and the unemployed are going to have unlimited jobs to chose from. My New Deal will incorporate relief, recovery, and reform to help the
No college student heads to college planning to be on academic probation and possibly dismissal. But reality, it can happen to anyone. It happened to my classmates and I and I know each and every one of them did not want to receive that email. Academic probation is a warning that students get when their performance falls below the college or university’s requirement for good academic standing. When I received my email, I was shocked and did not know what I was going to do next. I have never had a GPA that low before and I was mentally and physically shocked to read that email on my computer screen. There are several reasons why I am on academic probation, and several things I am going to do to get off of academic probation.
My Freshmen year did not begin like most college students’ because I am an “Opportunity kid”, or as some of us in the program often joke, SVC’s finest. My peers and I undertook a grueling academic boot camp that laid my foundation here at Saint Vincent. This foundation allowed me to successfully transition to college life, and I hope to help other students just as individuals in the Opportunity Program have helped to mentor and inspire me.
after retirement. That came from a combination of my consulting, a lump sum payment when Sarah retired, and interest / capital appreciation of our investments. Since retirement, we have not been saving any of our retirement income and in fact are depleting our savings paying IRA taxes. We probably can still keep the goal level even while contributing $6,000 a year to our kids requirement IRA because the principle is large enough that the interest income continues to mitigate the expenditures. Jacobus College Fund account distributions and kids IRA gifts will likely hold future growth consistent with the plan. My dream would be that our children would continue this approach, giving each succeeding generation a better net worth that they can pass on.
