Graduation Speech : Why Is Schooling Is Pounded Into Their Heads

. The day that a student step into that kindergarten classroom the importance of schooling is pounded into their heads. Going all the way through Elementary school, they finally make it to middle school, where they think it is just all fun and games. Once they hit high school it starts to get serious. Getting asked what the students want to do with their lives, and what kinds of job they want to pursue. How is a 15-18 year old student supposed to know what they want to do for the rest of their lives? After high school students are pushed out into the real world, and told they need to go further in school once more to get a degree in some sort to make it in the work force. It’s a very good hands on program that allows the intern to get a feel for what his or herself would be doing later on in that work force. “It’s really hard to motivate yourself to do something if you don’t know what it looks like.” explains Macomb an English teacher at Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts in Baltimore County. Many people learn best by hands on, but everyone could benefit from seeing the things that they have been learning in class, being put in charge of a task, and even developing sessions or activities to lead. All of these things make up a great teacher just like when the child needs him or her, and even teaching the student on a level they understand best. Understanding the needs of students who may or may not get it the first time, but taking it a step father to get them the necessities they need to comprehend. The list could go on and one, but that is one of the benefits of being a teacher. Most teachers are not just going to sit back and watch students fail and do poorly in school, rather they are going to go that extra mile and put in the hard work and dedication to make sure their students get the best future and education possible.
