The goals of the organization are to create a seamless network of programs and interventions to form holistic, outcome-driven interventions, attract, develop, support and retain highly effective leaders and teams, build and sustain a healthy organizational culture, partner with communities to promote sustainable community-based solutions and advocate for kids and families while strengthen organizational capacity, technology and facilities. Combining the goals and mission the organization has a philosophy to lead, thrive, grow and respect. Currently Graham Windham operates 10 community-based agencies and provides close to 20 educational and social service programs, including family foster care, adoption, child abuse prevention, behavioral supports, after-school, out of school time, education, and mental health to more than 4,500 children and families in New York City’s neediest communities in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Harlem as well as The Graham School Campus, which houses a residential treatment center and a Special Act School …show more content…

The organization is currently divided into three major departments which include numerous sub departments to service families and the community. The three major departments of Graham Windham are family Permanency Planning Services, Family and Community Support Services and The Graham School.
The Family Permanency Planning Services Department provides foster care services providing children with loving foster families utilizing Solution-Based Casework to ensure that safety and well-being of the children and to help parents develop skills and support they need to safely care for their children and also provide permanent alternatives for children whose parents are unable to provide them with a
