Many theories are speculated of what drove people to create such massacres and harm to innocent victims. One of the most popular is that violent video games have an influence on these attacks. However, Matt Peckham, in “Researcher Says Linking Video Games to Gun Violence is a ‘Classic Illusory Correlation’” explains there isn’t much evidence to prove that theory and researches haven’t found a reasonable link between the two. Actually, on the contrary video games seem to benefit a person mind rather than harm them according to Mary Flanagan, in her article “Don’t Demonize Video Games for Violence.” Video games don’t influence a person’s mind because there is a psychological explanation to these occurrences therefore violent video games has no contribution to violence incidents across the nation.

The american sniper is a very awesome topic that i wanted to write about for my last year. The reason why i wanted to do it is because i have four relatives in the army marine and the navy and the Airforce. So i want us to remember the sniper which is chris kyle he was a very awesome and couraging person to me. when me and my dad went to watch the movie i didn’t move one time except for a drink and food.so i hope you have a chance to watch the movie american sniper. Chris kyle was a character that would do anything for the freedom. When i heard that the veterans give us this freedom i was shocked about it, plus i have some relatives that are veterans that i really care about, but one the characters is my loving father he was in the army for 24 years.he started at the age of 18. I willing to bet u that chris kyle started being a veteran when he was young. Chris Kyle was one of my favorite characters in the movie american sniper, but when i read that Chris kyle died i was so sad for a month that i really didn’t want to do anything at all with war games or watch any war movies because every time i saw someone

The next release in the series was Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. This game takes one back to the ‘80’s in Liberty City which is modeled after Miami. It is very reminiscent of the 80’s show Miami Vice. In this game, the main character is a drug dealer who loses his boss’ shipment of cocaine and money. He then has to run around the city and beat up jurors, steal cars, kill pimps and prostitutes for money and run other unsavory missions. The music is catchy, and for someone who remembers the 80’s well will enjoy walking down memory lane. The big appeal of the game is its realism. The downfall is the language and the whole premise of the game. As soon as the disc is in and the game starts, the first line of dialogue contains several curse words and racial slurs. The game especially maligns the Latino population portraying them as drug dealers and prostitutes or strippers. It is rated M for mature and not recommended for those under the age of 17 as are all the other Grand Theft Auto games.

Background checks are performed but, only in stores―yes, gun shows do not require background checks. But, before any purchase at stores, the FBI, in only a few minutes, conducts a background check process to authorize any individual before making a purchase. The important information that is acquired from the background check
Two thousand sixteen is the next election year and it has slowly become one ofthe most intriguing elections yet. I am not eighteen; therefore, I will not be able to vote inthis election. However, I am still following along closely with the campaigns seeing that Iwill be affected by the results of the election. There are many concerning things abouttoday’s world. Some of them being abortion, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender(LGBT) rights, immigration, gun control, and the economy. I have chosen three of mybiggest concerns to write about today. My first concern is about illegal immigration; mysecond, is gun control; and my third is our economy. Everyone one is torn betweencandidates

“In video games, the category of “first person shooters” has been controversial with critics concerned about what that means to players who actually perform acts of violence within the games. Instead of merely watching a character perpetrate a violent act, the player is actively encouraged to participate. Gamers will often refer to their characters as “he” or even “I.” “This suggests some confusion is brought on by the intense identification players sometimes feel towards their avatars. Players typically remain attached to a single character they can control; thus they have a very strong following pattern. Game designer, Will Wright, has argued that games may have a unique ability to make players experience guilt for the choices their characters have made in the course of action. Because players are making choices, they feel some degree of responsibility” (242-243).
