During my childhood years, my neighborhood surroundings influenced me to become an artist. The way I look at life is I see myself as a leader who will accomplish my goals and make a difference in people’s lives. The person who influenced me the most to become an artist was my late uncle. My uncle was an artist who worked in New York City. I remember the first time my mother showed me his work and was astonished by his drawing skills. He was a very talented artist. After seeing his work, I had a strong desire to become a graphic designer.
Education is very important to me because I want to further my career as a graphic designer. While attending Pensacola State College, I had overcome many obstacles and prove myself to people that I am a determined
What is an art director? That’s a hard question to answer. In the movies, art directors are usually responsible for creating the “look and feel” of the film. In advertising and print work, art directors come up with “concepts,” the creative ideas that communicate with us on a gut level through devices like theme, metaphor, and symbolism. Some art directors do a little more than dream up these ideas and present them to clients, while some oversee almost all aspects of the design and production process.
Art cannot be classified into one category, style, or period. Art is very diverse, ranging from the beginning of the human being to today. Through the years, art has evolved dramatically from stick figures and two dimensional animals to three dimensional sculptures and intricate paintings. The artwork featured at the Seattle Art Museum shows many different types of art and features several different periods in which these artworks were created. Two pieces of art that stuck out the most at the museum was Albert Bierstadt’s Puget Sound on the Pacific Coast and Robert Arneson’s Pool with Splash. Both of these pieces of art showed character and seemed to almost speak to the viewer. Although there are many different periods
I have decided on majoring in graphic technology at the University of Northern Iowa. When I was visiting the UNI campus with an undecided major, I went to lunch with my cousin, a freshman at UNI this year, during my lunch break. She told me about her friend who has been taking classes to major in graphic technology, along with the different projects she has made. My cousin knows how much of a hands on person I am, so she told me to research this major when I got home. I realized that I make most products that UNI does due to the fact that I have worked with numerous programs, make/use the same materials, and I love working with designs to make a product wonderful.
The early Renaissance is often hailed as a period of artistic detail. However, critics might argue that at least as far as subject matter goes, the Renaissance very much alludes to the religious themes of contemporary art. What, then, were other differences from contemporary art in comparison to Renaissance?

Artwork can be described as a drawing, painting, or a print. In other words, Artwork does not have to be a drawing in order for it to be classified as art. Any type of creativity used in a drawing, painting, or print is considered to be artwork. Drawing is known to be the oldest type of art media. There are different types of media in each type of artwork. In drawing, there are two groups of media, dry media and wet media. Contemporary art has evolved into many different forms and genres. The substantial amount of freedom given by the art educational institutions to the artist enables the practice of seeking new ways of expression and evolution. This open mode of creation is necessary for the practice to freely evolve, but the freedom brings a huge responsibility onto the maker too. There is also a question of whether there is a real freedom of expression, in the world governed by the social and institutional rule and order. Shall the artist seek to escape the expectations of the societal responsibilities and demands of the art institutions, and if yes, to what extent is it possible and meaningful for the avant-garde attitudes to exist within the contemporary
I have always had a passion for art and design. Starting around age seven I really started to enjoy drawing. I became very interested in picking an image and trying to replicate or recreate an image as close as I could. Once I got a little older I began taking a little more artistic control and began adding my own style to my drawings. Now I work every day to hone in and perfect my style while also keeping well versed in the other styles and types of drawing. I want to go to a school of art and design because that is my passion. I want nothing more in life than to be able to call my career enjoyable, not a job. I never want to work a day in my life, and with graphic design and drawing I can achieve that. I also want to work on my technical

I was exposed to the world of art when I was a young boy. I was fascinated by drawings, cartoons and comics and was highly inspired by my mother, who was an artist and also a writer.
