Shannon, we at Great Clips are well-aware of your personal contributions to the weekend management. Given a complex problem, you have a rare and enviable ability to find a simple solution. Thank you for the enthusiasm you add to the team. You are a great contributor. We hope you will be inspiring us with your innovative thinking for years to
Explain the role of capitalism in the 100-year growth of Nederlander Concerts. How does Nederlander benefit from each of the fundamental rights of capitalism?
I want to thank you for meeting with me regarding the cross over of the lacrosse club to a team sport in the 2018 season. I have great respect for you and the roles that you have at Millikan. I've witnessed your efforts and have been impressed with what you've done at Millikan. Kevin has engaged the community in a way which has brought Millikan sports more respect and awareness. Dan has coached and guided staff in a common sense way of dealing with parents as well as maintaining a pragmatic approach to larger ideas. In this I am sincere.
I have enjoyed getting to know and working with all of you over the last few weeks. As always, I learn as much if not more from all of you than vice versa. Best of luck in all
Thank you for the support that you gave APD and me in FY-16. Mr. Song and I feel that your team and you bent over backwards in many instances to support our mission requirements. We couldn't have had a successful year without you. For that we are greatly appreciative. We look forward to working with you in this new fiscal year.
"Last year’s event was a huge success and we are proud to be back for the second time in 2017. There is really no greater reward than to be a part of supporting such an important cause and we’re very much looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces this weekend.” - Zoltan
Hi Sam- Overall, I think this weekend went great except for Brooke not showing up to her schedule Sonny's shifts. To my understand, she will most likely not be with us anymore since she is no help to us and can't even show up to training unfortunately. Breaks have been covered all weekend and I made sure all opening and closing procedures were completed at both Sonny's and Mixx as usual. I did talk to Odalis and to make sure she was all set for her schedule for the next two weeks at The Grind and told her to contact me if she had any concerns. Her availability just needs to be updated for weekdays where she is scheduled at 3 p.m. due to school but she will be able to come in at 4 p.m. on weekdays which I told her for these scheduled shifts
I would be remiss if I hadn't thanked you all for all of your loyalty. We are extremely happy to have friends who keep coming back generation after generation. Nothing makes me feel better than running into a past customer I may have personally put the floor in for. I miss working and talking to the customer as I worked. Those were exciting times! And we seem to be embarking on another trail. I'll have to keep it there for now.
After going into detail about her move to New York and humanitarian involvement with Hurricane Sandy, her last piece of advice was to support one another. You must help somebody out to get help so might as well pay it forward. I feel like I learned a lot about the industry and how to handle it all from Marcie and am glad there is someone out there who is all about lady
Last week, we lost a very important person in our life, someone that was a true gentleman, great at singing and dancing, and married to wonderful Katie with two children, Francie and Neeley. He was a fantastic friend, husband, father, and family member to have. Although we will mourn his loss for the rest of our lives, we can always remember how wonderful he was.
Whilst watching the Tapped documentary I learned how important water is and how it has a bigger impact than I once expected. One thing that surprised me is how much freedom these water companies have. Many of the water companies can take water from an area and they do not have to ask for permission. At one point in the documentary, they discussed companies taking water from a lake even though there was a statewide drought. It makes me question the morals and ethics of these water companies.
Willie Robertson sent his gratefulness to everyone that supported him for the past five years. Also, he promised that the last season will definitely be great.
The documentary, The Good Fight, captures the many struggles and sacrifices James Farmer faced during the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s. Through first hand accounts, pictures, and documents, this film brings James Farmer to life portraying him as a selfless, committed, and collaborative leader dedicated to the movement. James Farmer experienced segregation from a young age and knew at that point that he must actively do something to put an end to it. He strongly believed in changing something that is wrong rather than just passively accommodating to the world.
Lastly, I want to acknowledge Christy Phipps, Donna Demouchet, and Tiffany Brown around the July 1 launch of well-being services for AT&T. Thank you for your leadership and dedication. In addition, the entire department has provided expertise through their consulting, testing, and problem solving. As Steven Anderson stated, ‘It truly takes a village; or in our case, a pretty awesome team!” Congratulations, everyone!
We Feed the World is much more than just a documentary about the mass production and waste of food, the environmental impacts of farming, and how the food we eat is produced. The documentary itself gives us insight into how poverty and food distribution allows for people to starve and for the environment to collapse. Though spoken about in detail for only a small portion of the film directly, capitalism and food distribution plays a huge part in many of the events that take place in this documentary. According to corporations and businesses, food is for buying and not consuming.
Adoption of books into a movie are somehow not always to my test. Often they leave out characters and amplify the manor occurrence to just fill their film hour caps. Movies do not create the same affection and attachment as books. In the book you could be any of the characters and can feel their thoughts, joy and sorrow. In “Everyday Use” short film, the director captured the general feeling of the story and brought the characters to life. The best part of the film for me is it took me back to the time period the story happened. How its like to live in that time, and I liked how it captures the humorous exchange between mama Dee and Hakim-a-barber when Wangero [Dee] introduced him. The worst aspect is its missing the passion when you see a
