I am a football fan. My favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. In my house a couple of weeks ago tension ran high. Why? Well, because my husband is a Cowboys fan and the Packers took them out of the running for the super bowl. Now, this past Sunday my husband was super happy to watch the Falcons beat the Packers, as for me I was devastated. This year the packers started off pretty week. They had a lot of people on the injury list. To see them come back and get as far as they did, I was a proud fan. Some may want to know if I am going to watch the super bowl, since my team is out. Of course I am! It would be un-American not to watch, but at the same time I really just want to see the Falcons lose since they beat the Packers. Let’s talk super
We all know the name Kobe Bryant. Rather if we know it from billboards, to TV, from high school to the NBA, within advertisements, through internet, or magazines while flipping through pages of a catalog. The main state is not if we no someone or somebody; it’s if we can remember them twenty years from now. The same great twenty years in one franchise they gave us. It’s what mark that they leave on other’s life’s. Not always about being famous or the best of all time. It’s about giving your best for the moment as far as breaking records, setting and creating new ones, to give great dividends. The most important is how great you are going to be to leave an effect in the people and fans of the game. That’s what really matters, that’s what
“…[F]or the benefit of the sick, [doctors avoid] any voluntary act of...corruption...whether [patients] are free men or slaves.” (2012) The quote above is from the Hippocratic Oath, which is a vow all doctors make, and states that doctors must not mistreat their patients. Nevertheless, medical officials’ maltreatment of their patients, especially African Americans, is a common theme seen throughout medical fields. The novel The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks further emphasizes the maltreatment of African Americans by showcasing the story of Henrietta Lacks who had her cervical cancer cells stolen to create an immortal line of cells, HeLa, that were used throughout the medical world without Lack’s or her family’s knowledge.

Hello, thank you all for coming. Today we are revealing a new statue of a true hero named Ben Kam. In 1940 he was taken to “The Warsaw Ghetto”. It was cramped with 400,000 people in one small area. He escaped to join the partisans, rebels against the Nazis. He quickly became a respected fighter. His family meanwhile we're dying. By the end of the war he stood back up and went on. With the weight of the world on his shoulders he married and started a family in America.
It’s December, and that means that deer hunting season is in full swing. We know that there are many restaurateurs and food-service workers that are avid bow hunters who love to incorporate wild game into their winter menus. This is a topic that Servsafe food manager certification classes do not generally cover, so we thought we would take a deeper look into what the Minnesota food code says.
I would like to thank you for everything that you have done to teach the Bear team, and not giving up on us when we don’t understand things.
In class we were shown a recording of the speech, “A call to men”. The first thing I noticed was the title, which made me immediately assume it was going to be a female speaker that was going to speak about feminism; or something along those lines. To see a man giving the speech grabbed my attention instantly. The man giving the speech was Tony Porter, and his audience was mostly women, who made me think, “Is this guy going to be giving a speech about feminism?” While listening to his speech I felt guilty for being quick to judge, because his speech was actually about growing up as a male, and being masculine is today’s society. While Tony Porter was giving his speech, he brought up stories that without a doubt every guy in our class could relate to that left many of us saying, “Wow”.
Welcome lady’s and gentlemen thank you for coming to Simon Birchs funeral. I am joe Wentworth and I am Simon Birchs best friend and we have mad so any memories but if I did we would be here for quite sometime. I would like to talk about three very important memories with Simon though. The bus incident, when Simon gets into trouble at church and when he helped me find my father these situations really explained to real Simon Birch.
Erik Williams may be back in my life, but I don’t have to let him back into my heart.
There are a lot of crimes in the world that people are going through, even if it’s not a crime it can be stressed and they can still get stressed out by it. For those who went through with crime when they had it happened to them. They opened their hearts and all of the hard time that they have been through, even if it was super hard to share. They want to share the pain that they have been through. Some day when is targets someone else, and someone sees that happens they will think about it. Help the victims and you might get something back in return. For those who don’t really know how to share they might type it out and share it that way. Others could share it by singing a song about it.
Friday evening, after I put my children to bed, I sat down and watched President Trump's Inauguration speech online through ABC News. Throughout his speech, I felt like he is continuing the path that he started, whether it ends up being amazingly good for our country or worse, has yet to be determined. I did not vote for President Trump, however, I did not vote for Hillary Clinton either. I did vote for Gary Johnson. I knew he wouldn't win, I was hoping he would reach that 5% of the popular vote, therefore, he would be able to get government funding during the next election. I felt neither of them was right for America. When President Trump won the election, so many of my friends were upset, while many were excited. I am nervous and not really looking forward to what his plans are.
When I was a kid, my super hero was Superman, I kind of admired him because I thought it would be cool to be able to fly and to have super-human strength, but the main reason why I liked Superman is because he helped people, no matter what.
