Greiblock Credit Union (GCU) financial firm should have policies and procedures set up for employees to be able to contact the right department when an incident arises. Prior to responding to incidents, the team should contact the appropriate managers and legal team. Incident response and communication could require different operational units of an organization, from legal, business managers, IT, CERT team, Incident Response, CEO, CIO. Depending on the issue, it could vary on which management should be contacted in regards to the incident.
Preparation for an incident response involves, utilizing the right tools and techniques to respond to incidents.
