My group informative speech was delivered on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. The goal of our speech was to inform the class about the infamous American serial killer, Charles Manson. Throughout our speech, we highlighted Manson’s childhood, cult, the murders he conducted, his inspiration, and his road to prison. Prior to delivering our speech, I personally was not worried as much as I have been for previous speeches; however, I was nervous about not having enough time to practice. For this reason, my goals for the group informative speech were to maintain good eye contact, not rely on my notecards, speak clearly, and utilize gestures. In order to achieve my goals, I rehearsed my speech outside of class and delivered my sections to my parents. Upon
Music festivals started back in 1967, when ten thousands of people decided to surround the Sydney B. Cushing Memorial Amphitheatre on Mount Tamalpais in Marin County, California. The KFRC 610 AM radio station named this gathering as “Fantasy Fair and Magic Mountain Festival”. Although many researchers say: not much information can be found or remembered from its attendees, but it made a musical impact on the world today. Another widely known festival known to date is Woodstock. Woodstock was a music and art fair which included things such as music, dancers, and magic tricks. At least 32 different acts being performed at once. Over 500,000 people attended this event, organizers originally sold 200,000 but since there was any fencing to limit the amount of people it became a free event. Due to previous music festivals and experienced festival holders this tradition of fun,

Manson's life is a great example and reason why it is so important that kids get brought up in a healthy way. It's also why having kind, responsible teachers are important. There are countless kids who's parents are terrible influences on them, and they need people to show them the valuable life lessons and morals needed in this life. Kids exposed to violence, only makes them more likely to be violent people who commit crimes. There are countless examples of this happening, and what's sad is how easy the solution is to this. However many parents aren't willing to change themselves to save their kids from being exposed to various types of violence or just immoral behaviors. Obviously being poorly brought up doesn't always lead to kids becoming

Although Charles Manson grew up with a broken childhood and was a more notorious killer than Michelle was, I compare the both of them. Manson talked his “disciples” into committing murder and Carter convinced Roy into committing suicide. The both of them are deadly when it comes to manipulation. Though he was not present at any of the crime scenes, Charles Manson was still considered a deadly asset and got sentenced with 9 murders . Prosecutors sentenced Michelle carter to 15 months in jail and probation after that.
There are many theories about what shapes an individual’s personality and when following these approaches, sense can be made of a certain person’s behavior. Charles Manson is a well-known serial killer whose personality is reflective of two specific personality theorists’ views. Sigmund Freud, whose psychosexual stages of development could explain some of the traits held by Manson. Karen Horney was another theorist whose views on childhood love and nurturing, or lack of it, could explain Charles Manson’s personality. Gathered information on
Charles Manson became known worldwide after helping commit numerous gruesome murders near Hollywood, California. Although, Manson’s legal troubles did not start from that point, he had been in and out of institutions and prisons since the age of twelve, for many different reasons. “For, let out of prison in 1967, the year of ‘the summer of love,’ he became the most hated and vilified figure in America, a symbol of everything that had gone wrong in the ‘60s” (Smith). Even though his release from prison was short lived, he managed to do a lot of damage during his time of freedom. Manson received a life sentence in May of 1970 for the nine murders he helped execute (Baughman). Charles Manson is a well recognized name across the United States.
Charles Manson has been named "the most dangerous man alive." Society referred to him as the devil. They believed he was the reason society was so bad in the 1960's. The 1950's to the 1960's was uncontrollably filled with violence. Our culture was shattered by the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., and Senator Robert F. Kennedy. At the same time, body bags from Vietnam were building up from a war that was tearing our nation apart. Riots and antiwar protesters marched across America. These are some of the most infamous names in the history of murder, but they hid in plain sight, and Manson did not even commit murder. He was so manipulative he could convince others to do his bidding for him. How is that even possible? Surely one would be able to recognize someone who is such a dangerous threat or would they? One of the reasons these killers can be so successful is their ability to blend into their surroundings and at times even be considered a stand up member of the communities they live in, but what is going on inside their brains?
The word “Cult” has not always had such a negative connotation attached to it. Many religions would’ve been considered cults when they first began. By the end of the 19th century many visionaries had revealed radically new religious systems, claiming immunity to the impurities of the old ones (Powers, 1997). These were no more than a group of people organizing themselves in worship and devotion for a person, object, or movement. They practiced rituals different to other “mainstream” religions, and were therefore considered cults.
Parents In Japan were worried about their kids to go to school. They decided to drop them off and pick them up, just to protect them from a serial killer. A serial killer that kills innocent souls. He kills them for his own desire, which was totally wrong because they are innocent souls know nothing about protecting themselves and by doing that he used them for his own sexual desire. The thing here is why only little girls?
