Toy Story is the groundbreaking 1995 motion picture developed by Disney and Pixar and directed by John Lasseter. The film was so revolutionary not only because it was the first feature length animation to be created completely by CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) but also, also the film was more rounded in all respects. The characters not only looked more sophisticated and three-dimensional but their personalities were also more human and fewer cartoons like. The film uses a constructed text in order to put across a theme of two very different characters learning to work together beyond their rivalries to rise above a common enemy and work towards a common goal. The film uses characters and imagery very cleverly to

By doing so, these movies implant ideas in a child’s head about what “normality” is. Having such a narrow road in the kids entertainment system, companies aren’t allowing children to think differently. In modern society, access to a million children’s movies is out there in so many locations, but why none that gives them a sense on different outlook on

You would assume that Lego is only for kids because most kids play with them and the movie should appeal to the same audience, but some of the story line could appeal to older audiences. First off, there are a lot of examples of why it appeals to the younger audiences and some examples are that the humour is silly for example in the movie when Emmett is told to build something cool he builds a couch and the silly sounds in the movie appeal to any kids because laugh at the fart sounds or when the pirate boat made a funny sounding engine which sounded like a person horribly trying to imitate one with their mouth. Watching movies is an enjoyable and entertaining pass-time that can be enjoyed alone, with family, or with friends. With a plethora of genres to choose from and even more movies within those genres, picking a movie that’s enjoyable can be difficult.
