Southeast team,

I’m pleased to announce that David Deliman has been named Market Vice President for Gulf Coast. This position, which he will assume on February 29, will report to me.

In his new role, David will serve as a strategic business partner with all lines of business. He’ll also be a strong voice for local employees, customers, key influencers and the Gulf Coast community.

David joined Cox in 2004 as Manager of Public Affairs for the Gulf Coast system. He later worked at Cox’s corporate office in Atlanta, where he served as the company’s product PR lead for Cox High Speed Internet and as a national media spokesperson. With his sights set on home, he returned to Pensacola in 2011 as a Public Affairs Manager for the Florida/Georgia Region and was later tapped to serve as the Public Affairs Director for the Southeast Region. In this role, he oversaw media relations, community affairs, charitable giving and local programming, earning our region numerous community and industry awards. He also co-chairs a national team focused on expanding enrollment in Connect2Compete, Cox’s program to help low-income families with school-age children get access to the Internet. …show more content…

He’s a graduate of the University of Florida and a past participant in several leadership development programs including Leadership Okaloosa, the Cox Emerging Leaders program and the Cox Enterprises Mentoring program (both as a mentee and mentor).
