The Effect of Gun Control in The United State Gun Control is a set of policy in which it can limit an individual’s right to sell, transfer and use of firearms weapons. But this policy can affect the society and individual’s negatively and have violated the second amendment in the US Constitution. Gun Control could hinder an individuals’ right to carry armed weapon, limit government authorities’ (such as police and the army) the right to obtain certain types of armed weapons, limit a person's responsibility to defend the social security, and increases death rate and crimes. It did not stop criminals from obtaining firearms, and it did not play its role and influence. Gun regulation is a constitutionally protected right under the second amendment of the US Constitution. The Second Amendment addressed: “A well-regulated United States Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The Second Amendment guaranteed the right of individuals to own gun as an effort for self- protection and responsibility to defend the United States. Gun right is permitted and recognized by law and should not be violated under any circumstances. Gun violence is a big problem which many Americans worries about. Supporters of gun control addressed: “Gun control laws can hinder certain individuals from gaining access to firearms and can limit possession of certain types of weapons to the police and the military.” (Gun
