Gun Control Laws Do Not Work Across the United States there have been many shootings and attacks. The most recent being in San Bernardino California where 14 innocent lives were taken. Most of these shootings are in schools, state buildings, movie theatres etc. Every public mass shooting in the USA since 1950 has taken place where citizens are banned from carrying guns. There are ways to end these people going on killing sprees once and for all. Many law abiding citizens are experienced and comfortable with a firearm. Imagine these people being able to take their concealed weapons into places that are now “no gun zones”. This would act as a deterrent against the people who go on killing sprees. Imagine if the movie theatre did not prohibit firearms. I strongly believe that if the theatre did not have restricted gun rules in place that the man never would have entered the movie theatre. He would have never had the opportunity to kill 12 people. He would have known that the citizens would have their own guns to protect themselves. It is time our country moves away from no gun zones. The laws clearly do not work. Criminals flock to places that prohibit guns because they know everyone is unarmed making it easy for them to carry out their plan. Also as citizens of the United States we have rights. We need to protect the U.S. Constitution and our 2nd Amendment right “to keep and bear arms”.
