Recently I have been accepted into Arizona State University for a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Along with the acceptance I have also obtained a Dean’s scholarship, an award given for academic merit and a number of other factors. I deserve this scholarship because I am hard working and it wouldn’t be a waste of money on some dumb teenager and because my parents don’t have a lot of money, but I also deserve it because I want to go to college to be a police officer and protect the american people, change how police officers are looked at and so I can serve justice to people who deserve

I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I have great leadership and many other great characteristics. I helped raise awareness of obesity in our county to help in getting our percentage back down. I mentored younger children that came from low-wage families on why it was so important to eat right and get an adequate amount of activities, as well as rest each and every day. I did this by using the "GO, SLOW, WHOA" program to make it easier for kids to understand what foods are "go" foods which you can eat as much as you want, which foods are "slow" foods which are foods you should only eat every now and then, and which food is "whoa" foods which you should try to avoid this foods when ever possible. After we presented our presentation
My background and life experience is different from all of the other applicant and I know that I am worth investing because as a person I know that I work hard and I can work well with other. And if you ask my friends, they will say the same. I didn’t go to college and pay for it. And I can’t go, if I have to pay for it out of my own pocket. My family don’t have enough money to pay. I am passionate about math and physics and due to that reason I want to attend a prestigious school for sciences and become an engineer. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to get the education; therefore, I am working hard to get scholarships.
Scholarship can be defined as “academic study or achievement; learning at a high level.” I have always considered myself to be very driven and motivated when it comes to my education. I take pride in the fact that I have received “A honor roll” every year, thus far. But, up until this point, making good grades has come naturally and I have found that the longer I am in school, the more difficult making the grade becomes --

Without a shadow of a doubt, I believe I am a worthy candidate to be consider as a recipient for the scholarship from PHSC foundation. However, I was not raised to go through life thinking that I deserve anything nor was I entitled to receive anything for free. I was taught that anything that is worth having—it is worth working for. So with this in mind, I am applying for the scholarship at PHSC because I am a student who has really worked hard regardless of how difficult things have
The biblical event I chose was the story of Moses. When Moses was born the Hebrew were slaves in Egypt. When pharaoh saw the Hebrews population going up he took the drastic measures to kill every new born Hebrew boy. He sent his soldiers to do so. Moses’ mother hides him for 3 months without them finding him but she knew it wouldn’t be long before they killed Moses so she had to make a plan. She decided to put Moses into a basket and send him down the river. She sent her daughter to watch the basket as it went down the river. Moses ended up in the pharaoh’s daughter’s hands. Her daughter told pharaohs daughter that she knew a lady that could be Moses’ nurse from then on Moses’ real mom would be his nurse as he grew up. She took Moses to the
What is ambition? Ambition is described as eager for success, power or fame. For Macbeth. Ambition was what drove him to become great, it forced him to change his nature towards evil. Kings theory focuses on human transactions in different types of environments. Da Silva and Ferreira (2016) state that “when users effectively communicate their values with nursing professionals, their participation can conduct to better goal achievement”. As patients and nurses work together, a bond forms, and this can help to achieve better outcomes. Smith and Parker (2016, p.136) stated that “nursing care’s goal is to help individuals maintain health or regain health”. Through King’s Theory of Goal Attainment, we can see how different concepts can affect the nurse-patient relationship.
On December 1st of last year, I was officially accepted into the University of Notre Dame. Getting this news was wonderful and I plan to attend this prosperous school for the next 4-5 years. At the institution, I will ostensibly major in biological sciences and I aspire to eventually become an Orthopedic Surgeon. I'm aware that college and graduate school will be incredibly arduous, but I'm more than prepared for the challenge. I've worked rigorously throughout my high school years, and I feel that I've acquired the tools necessary to succeed at the next level. I also have myriad people rooting for me and hoping that I will accomplish my far-reaching goals. People such as Mrs. Marines, Mrs. Sadler, my mother and others want me to be successful
