Introduction: The Haitian Revolution was a slave rebellion against French Colonial powers which turned out to be successful. A first republic ruled by blacks was created in Haiti because of the revolution. Haiti at that time was known as French Saint-Domingue which was one of the most creative and productive colony of Europe of its day. Ancestors of Africa freed themselves from slavery and from the French colonization throughout the revolution. The only revolt which turned out to be successful was the revolt on Saint-Domingue apart from the other rebellions that turned out to be futile. Haiti was ruled by the people of African ancestry which was the first republic in modern history. It was French colony at first but afterwards it started to command and rule itself.

Slaves were equipped with weapons and were led to the white plantation owners in the north on the 22nd of August in 1971. They caused riots by killing the owners, taking the prisons, raping their women and burning their fields. This revolution then extended to more areas which destroyed all the plantations in Le-Cap, Port-Margot, Plaine-des-Cayes and other more areas. More plantations were burned on the 30th of August in 1971 by around a number of fifteen thousand slave forces. The riots finally came to an end on the 21st of September in 1971 and the Mulattoes were granted citizenship and the coloured people were freed.

Outcomes of the Haitian Revolution: The major production of the Haitians was sugar and coffee after 1804. Most of the Haitians left the plantations and became peasants. In 1804, Haiti became an independent nation. In the beginning of 1792, there was limited immigration of slaves in South Carolina and they became freedmen from Haiti to avoid them from getting infections and to protect their slaves.
