umbled by the Heat's loss to the Mavericks, James spent the offseason working with Hakeem Olajuwon on his post game.[115][116] His work with Olajuwon paid off, fueling what Grantland's Kirk Goldsberry called "one of the greatest and most important transformations in recent sports history".[117] Behind James' more post-oriented play,[117] Miami matched their best start to a season in franchise history,[118] and at the conclusion of the lockout-shortened 2011–12 campaign, he was named MVP for the third time, finishing with averages of 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game on 53 percent shooting.
LeBron James calls himself King James because he has won 4 MVP’s throughout his NBA career, and he is very dedicated and a very great leader to all of his games as well as his teammates. As I observed the 2015 Finals, LeBron James played the hardest out of each player on his team as well as the opposing team. James did not have a lot of help going against a strong team like the Warriors because two of the starting players from the Cavaliers got injured and had to sit out for the rest of the season. Kevin Love got injured way before the finals took place, and Kyrie Irving got injured during game one against the Warriors. Rodger Sherman, website sport journalist stated that, “James' average line in these NBA Finals is 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 8.4 assists per game. Only Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and James Worthy have managed to do that in a single NBA Finals game since 1986” (web). Rodger
In 1984, after he won the championship at North Carolina, Michael Jordan was signed to a five year endorsement deal by Nike. The contract was worth about 2.5 million dollars. A lot of people were very judgmental because of the huge endorsement given to a rookie. I am surprised as well because in this day and age, a company would never do that. However, because Michael Jordan had so much skill, he made all of the skeptical people eat their own words.
The hall of fame I decided to visit was the Men’s Basketball Hall of Fame, which is located in Springfield Massachusetts. Its overlooking the Springfield skyline and on the banks of the Connecticut River. When ESPN aired “The Decision” on July 8, 2010, James was a free agent announcing that he would be playing for the Miami Heat for the 2010-2011 season. After his move, James played alongside all-star Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. With the move, James wanted to win his first championship in Miami and during his move, he won two championships in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013. Kobe Bryant won his first three championships from 1999 to 2002 with all-star Shaquille O’Neal.

He claimed his third NBA Finals MVP award, which ties him with Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan, and Shaquille O'Neal for second-most in league history behind Michael Jordan (6). In this series, he averaged 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 2.6 steals and 2.3 blocks. If that stat-line wasn't enough to claim his third MVP honor, then this surely did:

As I dribbled through cones, performed numerous exercises on the agility ladder and meticulously gaged my form as I hurled up ball after ball trying to perfecting my jump shot at midnight, I knew copious other high school, college and NBA basketball players were exerting as much and, if not, more effort and energy in hope of making small strides in their game that would all accumulate and help be a transformed player next season.
