Mr. Chartrand,
I wanted to know if I could be able to host and run the upcoming Troop Halloween Dress-Up Party. I think that I have a lot of great ideas for this meeting, but would like to have your approval. Furthermore, I had a budget around $ 100 dollar for all the materials, supplies, and prizes. I know that I will be unable to manage this all by myself, so I would like to get some help from my lower leadership (assistant senior patrol leaders). Lastly, I want to get your opinion on the troops positions. I know you wanted those who are running to give speeches, but realized that me and my assistant patrol leaders will not have enough time to pick those who are running for office. I was wondering if I have permission to contact my ASPLs
of a girl who was misunderstood. Throughout her childhood and young adulthood, Daphne struggled with identifying with her feelings. Daphne was constantly searching for an answer to why she felt different. Daphne wanted to “fit in” but she knew she was unconventional. The different labels she was given through out her psychiatric stay stuck with her and left a scar of how she was once perceived.
I recently completed my Eagle Scout rank, achieving the highest honor in Boy Scouts, and I am also a brotherhood member of scouting's honor society, the Order of the Arrow. I served a six month term as Senior Patrol Leader, the most senior scout leader within my troop, as well as serving as Assistant Senior Patrol Leader for one term. Before that, I did three six month terms as Troop Guide, a position in which I acclimated first year scouts to the troop, teaching them the ways of scouting. My experience in Boy Scouts has presented an abundance of opportunities for me to develop my leadership skills, giving me a competitive advantage over other candidates.
Samhainophobia is the fear of Halloween, and it affects people of all ages and ethnicities. When a fear, even a fear that starts off as rational, becomes intense and irrational to the point one goes into shock or cannot think it is considered a phobia. This particular phobia is one of the more common phobias, but it can still be fairly hard to diagnose. Samhainophobia is thought to affect eleven percent of people. To truly understand why this fear affects so many different people and age groups, it is imperative that one understands the history behind Halloween as well as the reasons behind fear itself and how it affects people, what treatments are effective and available to the general public.
It has always been a tradition in my family to run from the Mardi Gras. Sometimes we would go to Gheens or Raceland to run from them. My heart would always beat really fast when we would hear the Mardi Gras beat there sticks against the trailers that they would ride in. I was always the first one to start running because I was one of the slower ones, but even though I would get a head start, they would still catch me. Last year, my friends and I decided to go to our friends house to take on the Mari gras of Choupic. I will always cherish the memories on Mardi Gras with my friends.

Men like the way women look. Whether it is women on TV or in magazines, they seem to like to look at women. Is this common among all men to want to look at that girl in the cute dress or the tight jeans? Or maybe it’s only certain guys that have to stare at women as they pass. But what if the man looking is married? That certainly changes the innocence of the stare. In "The Girls in their summer dresses", by Irwin Shaw, Michael Loomis is a guy that likes to stare at women other than his wife. She constantly catches him looking at these women and she calls him out on it. He tries to reassure her that he loves her and is happily married but she isn't convinced. Michael Loomis
All of the following traits are things that we were lacking on Friday after the Halloween Party. Our class didn’t respect Mrs. Petrakis and Mrs. Cooper by leaving the room a mess. It was very kind of them to give us the opportunity and we should have cleaned up after ourselves. We weren’t responsible because we didn’t do complete a task that we have learned since pre-school. Mrs. Cooper shouldn’t have had to remind us to complete this task because we should have been accountable of the mess we made during the party and cleaned it up
Halloween: the holiday where as kids we couldn’t wait to go door to door to achieve the golden goal of a full bag of candy. Halloween soon turns into a question mark for teens; in an instant, there is a change of when it is ‘appropriate’ to go trick-or-treating and when you should just move on. Are you the one who thinks Trick-or-treating is lame or the one who still walks around your neighborhood every year -- no matter how many dirty looks you may get. What teenagers decide to do on Halloween varies: going to a party, passing out candy, staying home are a few popular options. Throughout my highschool experience I have been able to witness and experience all different types of halloteens, each with their own traits.
Once upon a time there was a huge celebration, everybody has been looking forward to this for about a year, this celebration is called mardi gras. Mardi gras will begin tomorrow so every store in new orleans is overcrowded with people from all over the world stocking up on decorations, costumes, and most importantly bead necklaces for when they throw them up in the trees,. Me and my grandaughter own one of the largest celebration stores in new orleans called “ Me + YOU”. We always enjoy peoples faces when they see just the thing that they have been looking for, We love it so much that we paid to have one of our own floats in one of the worlds largest parades running across our streets. You knew when it was getting late when all of the crazy tourist start running down the streets screaming “ no more days!!!! No more days!!!!,“ so I started to head home on my little motorcycle, some people thought it was crazy to see an old granny on a bike but that way i know that i am the coolest grandma out there. I pulled up to my small blue cottage near the shore and caught my family hiding outside and they all yelled
