I did my forty-hour patrol practicum the Perry County Sheriff’s Department. I started on February Fourth, 2016 and went ever following Friday until April First of 2016. I learned a lot of useful things while riding with the Deputy. I learned some of the codes that Perry county uses. I learned the Youth Correction center and even went to one in Lancaster. I have got to see a Domestic Violence happen and how the Sheriffs, State Trooper, and Town Officers deal with them. There was so much to like about riding with the Sheriff’s department.
At approximately 1046 hours on July 4, 2016, Hampton County Sheriff’s Office, responded to 1350 Cypress Creek Road, in the county of Hampton, in reference to a larceny of personal items out of a vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies make contact with the complainant, Rudonsey Devore, who stated someone went in his vehicle, a 2004 Chev pickup truck, and took his wallet and keys to the vehicle. He advised he left his vehicle unsecured, and this incident occurred overnight.
Prior to leaving the scene I did check the vacant residence directly behind 1431 Holly Trail East per Nita Dobbs request. While checking the residence I did observe the back door leading to the deck to be open. I observed no signs of forced entry and it did not appear as if the residence had been burglarized. I
On Friday, August 12, 2016 at approximately 1000 hours, I assisted the patrol division in locating a burglary suspect that entered the residence of 1023 Barn Oak Court. The complainant/victim Nicole Smith stated to the Conyers Commutation that when she entered the front door of the residence, she heard an unidentified noise in the back bedroom. As she entered the rear bedroom the subject exited the residence through the rear window.
On August 26, 2017, at approximately 0126 hours, I responded to 5500 Lake Avenue, Sanford, unincorporated Seminole County, in reference to a disturbance, which was the third call for service from this residence (ref event # 20172373398, 20172380059, 20172380183). Upon my arrival, I made contact with complainant Sandra Ziebart, who stated her daughter Mandy Rateau had kicked the door off the hinges.

She advised she confronted a male with a flashlight in hand on her back deck this evening prior to my arrival. She informed the male that he should have rang the doorbell instead of just walking around the perimeter and onto her deck with permission. The male advised that his fiancé is a realtor and they heard the house was up for auction. The male returned to his vehicle and his fiancé came and introduce herself to the Ms. Cooper and left her business card with her name; Cieraca V. Rhoaes with Re/Max 252 623-8355)
On December 9, 2015, Ronald Beecroft, a white male, born on May 4, 1964, contacted the Lee County Sheriff 's Office to report a credit card fraud.

On 08/17/2016, I spoke with Elsie Garcia in the District II Lobby of the Pasco Sheriff`s Office in reference to fraudulent use of her personal identification. A Credit One Bank credit card account number 4707930511043438 was opened in her name without her knowledge or permission.
On Monday, May 23, 2016, at approximately 12:45 a.m., I, Trooper Bradley Brachear, received a telephone call from Sergeant Robert Ventura. Sgt. Ventura advised Trooper Bradley Otten of Illinois State Police District 13 requested my assistance with a two-vehicle crash on Illinois Route 4 approximately 0.23 miles south of Norton Lane in Tilden Township, Randolph County. I responded from the Lebanon area to assist. The crash resulted in one fatality.

There were too many to count. What was only a few dozen hours earlier, became hundreds – no thousands. The Grant County sheriff was grossly outnumbered. As he stood on the porch leading to the jail, a few steps from the door to his home, the mob shuffled forward menacingly. The glare of the porch lamp likely darkened their faces, contrasting the men of the law with the people of the land. The on-lookers who watched from afar seemed to be closer every second. He presumably considered what to do as the mob grew before his eyes. What did he fail to account for? Had he made any mistakes?
