Hardwork: The Importance Of Small Groups In A Band

In band there is a huge amount of people in one class. We have different sections that are split up by the instruments. There are even smaller groups inside of each of the main sections. The section that I belong to, we have three smaller groups. The hard works, ones that put in some work, and just the slackers or ones that do not do a whole bunch of work. We have few clarinets in the last group but, there are still some that do not really care what goes on. Clarinets have many keys on our instruments so, it takes a huge amount of memorization in knowing all of the notes. It has twenty four keys and can play fifty two different notes. Some people do not all of the notes right away. Most learn each note as a new one appears. Most people ask others what a note is if they can not figure it out. Just like math a student can ask the teacher for help.The hard workers help other clarinets out with playing and knowing the music. We also have to be good at marching and staying in step. They do most of the work that is expected of them even though, sometimes not all of their work is accomplished. Other people may have to remind them to do something if they do not remember. These people also need help in marching to stay in step. Some of them do not always march to the beat. Which means when one person counts to himself/herself, they should be able to stay in step. When one says an odd number it should be their left foot hitting the ground. They sometimes just walk around, following other kids to find their spot . Once somebody says something to that certain person then most of the time it is fixed. Most of the time if something is said to someone they will listen and do what is told.
