College attendance can be a very controversial subject, many people think that college is a waste of time, money, and space. While others, like me, believe that college is crucial to your future development, and will help you all through your life. There are obviously pros and cons to college, but I believe that all the pros outweigh the cons. It helps with mental health. Being a college student may be stressful and a lot of hard work, but the percentage of mental disorders in college graduates is significantly lower than most people with only a high school diploma. It helps you financially. While you can get a job after high school, a college degree makes it easier to get into a better, higher paying job with better health/insurance benefits.
