Healthy eating is what we all need to consider in our everyday life. Healthy eating good prevent you from getting cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. There are many choices that we can make that can either benefit us or be hazardous to our health. There are many factors out there that can cause harm to the body. I have chosen three to discuss. What I am going to be talking about throughout my paper will be cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. I will be discussing what foods that would benefit and lessen your chance in getting these diseases. Also we will talk about the foods and other unhealthy choices that can increase your risk of getting these diseases. Something else that is not good to consume is a lot of alcohol. You can drink it in moderation, but if you drink it on a daily basis then there is another risk that can bring on cancer. Drinking plenty of water is a great way to keep your body refreshed and replenished. There have been certain cancers that have been linked to being heavy or as they call it obese. Some of those cancers have been breast, kidney, uterine, thyroid, pancreatic, and a few others. (Written by Mayo Clinic Staff) Another risk factor to not eating healthy is getting Diabetes. There are foods that need to be avoided and foods that are healthy and are not causes for diabetes. Those foods that are healthy would be whole grains, green vegetables, whole fruits, non-fat dairy products, lean meats, beans, and fish. The ones that need to be avoided are foods that are high in trans fats, foods that are high fat dairy products, and animal proteins. In order to stay healthy you need to eat the right foods and exercise. There are two types of Diabetes that can occur. If you are overweight you are at a higher risk of getting diabetes. So the importance of eating healthy is a must to avoid getting this. If a women has a waist circumference of 35 inches or more your risk increases and if a male has a waist circumference of 40 or more he is also at a risk increase.
