Walking and engaging in sports are good forms of exercise.Your body acquires tons of benefits just by strolling or playing outdoor games for five to ten minutes. However, every mile you take and every hop you make puts pressure on your feet. Your feet is considered the strongest part of your body as it carry your weigh. But too much friction irritates the sensitive tissues of your heel and you begin to develop heel pain.

Heel pain is a common condition for athletes and road travelers. It is characterized by severe pain, swelling and redness of the heel. The sufferer usually feels pain behind the heel or underside. Although it is rare, mamy people ignore this condition and keep on doing activities that will make it worse.

Heel pain has a number of causesthat are typically associated with the overuse of the heel bone. It can range from mild to disabling. Pounding your feet to the ground, wearing tight or unfit shoes, and being overweigh are some of the causes of strains that affect the bones, muscles and tendons of your heel.
