Heidi Daub The Celtic Cross

Out of all the pieces that were a part of Heidi Daub’s collection, this was the piece that kept drawing me back. At first you couldn't see it, because there was the viewing screen in front of it, and then when the screen was taken down, this canvas was behind it, and it honestly blew me away. The first thing that my eye went to was the infinity symbol that was painted in blue. In my senior year, I studied about the Celtics, and in my studies, I learned about The Celtic Cross. The Cross was quite literally a cross and in the middle of it, there was a circle. It is said that the Celtics’ believed it to mean that there was a passageway between heaven and earth.
