“I live life as if I’m dead”, Henry Hudson said. Hudson goes on to explain he has removed his on desires in life, and now attributes his life to the constant work of making a statement- a statement he hopes will teach his friends and family lessons through the assessment of his life. Growing up in the inner city of East Oakland and other parts of the East Bay, Hudson experienced a diverse life. Having spent sometime in prison, he now compares his life to that of prison life. “Life is a strict schedule, “ Hudson said. And with the constant schedule his life functions around, it reminds him of the world inside the prison walls- scheduled. Not wanting his children to ever feel in need of a father, being a good example and there for his children has become the most important thing in Hudson’s life, and the reason behind his continued strict schedule. …show more content…

Having 4 children, who take up most of his time- Hudson wants to teach his children “Finish what you start.” Hudson said, so not finishing college is not an option. The only free time that Hudson gets he uses it to go shopping, saying shopping is the only thing that he truly enjoys outside of spending time with his children or the children of family members. With a passion for shopping (as well as children) it has lead Hudson to be on a path that consist of- after obtaining his Associates Degree at ARC he eventually wants to transfer to Sacramento State University where the plan will be to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fashion. With jeans being the first on Hudson’s agenda to implement change in today’s fashion trend. “I am tired of seeing men in skinny jeans.” Hudson said. He wants to show men skinny jeans are not the only jeans to be wearing and in fact “men should not be wearing them at
