Henry Hudson and Samuel de Champlain were two great explorers. Both were born around 1570 and were sons of sea captains . However, even though they both have similarities from how they were brought up, their voyages were very different from one another. Even the types of explorers they were are different from each other.

Patrick Henry was born on May 29, 1736 in Hanover County, Virginia. Patrick Henry went to school for a little while, and was taught by his father. His father had a good education. Henry then got a job when he was 15. He was a storekeeper for his dad. After he failed working, he then studied law and received a license in 1760. He then studied to be a orator three years after his law license. Henry then got elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses in 1764. Henry then got elected to be a delegate to be the First Continental Congress in August 1774.
