Heroes have many Definitions in all peoples eyes. In this one you will find one of the many definitions and how I see a hero. A hero will be described by how he looks and for what he does. This is how I see a hero in action and in looks. This is for someone to strive for. When you think of a hero, what comes to mind is a strong man or woman that is in armour holding a sword to go fight the evil that has come to you and me. Mostly a dragon are an army. Now a way your heroes will not be seen in armour. You will be seeing him are a normal person. Dressed like you and me. This hero will look like us but would do heroic things. Our dragon now a day will be as saving a child from a burning home. Or that army could be being a good father. In my
The word “hero“ is a very short word with a very long meaning. The image that comes up when most people hear the word “hero“ is normally a man with a cape, tights, and a “S” in the middle of his chest, along with a chiseled jaw, muscular arms and body, and dreamy eyes. This image is often thought of when the word “hero” pops up in conversation, although you don’t have to have supernatural powers or fight against evil mad scientists to be considered as a hero.

Heroes do extraordinary things and often tend to be people or figures we place on a pedestal whom often have made inspirational sacrifices (Allison and Goethals 24-25). Heroes as courageous, selfless and skillful humanitarians. They can be extraordinary athletes or even someone who gives the gift of time and or sacrifice (Allison and Goethals 26-30). What do you imagine when you think of a hero? Do you imagine a person in a cape, or someone with supernatural powers? Either way, everyone has their own visualization of a hero. Some people have realistic standards of a hero, and others seem more like a fantasy. A hero is not someone who flies, or saves the life of a damsel in distress.
There are many interpretations of what describes a hero and the actions they take. Whether it's selfless individuals that protect others against harmful entities or powerful figures in costumes that depict moral greatness and power fantasies, everyone has their own vision of what constitutes a hero. Like many of our own thoughts and opinions, these visions often stem from the environment and upbringing of the people that have them. A fantastic example of this aspect of our thoughts is the way George Orwell described a hero. He views a hero as someone who will do whatever they can to change social systems that lack respect for human decency, even if they know it is impossible to create such change.
What should someone visualize when they hear the word hero? An example could be your parents or even siblings because of their honorable actions. Furthermore, people that have served across countries and risked their lives for others deserve the reputation they have. Whether your hero includes of qualities consisting daring, adventurous, or even has super powers, they all have something in common. They have all sacrificed several things to gain the level of respect they have been given. A hero consists of someone who’s looked up to and admired for things they have done.
There are many types of heroes (such as the ones in comic books, myths, movies, or even just everyday life heroes) but all of them have perseverance when they’re going through a conflict. Heroes are role models and they’re people that we look up too. They all have unique and special qualities that make one another different from each other. For example policemen battle crime everyday and when they’re overcoming a conflict they have determination, courage and other traits that people admire them for and that make them as a hero. Typically a hero is admired for their achievement/actions and qualities.
Every person has a different image pop up in their head when they think about what a hero is. With a vast amount of reasons for why someone should be qualified as a hero. Most people choose a person who makes them believe they are capable of anything just by what they could accomplish. A hero should be someone you look up to and are impressed by all they have and can do. That is why my hero is Deborah Speer (my mom), her accomplishments inspire me everyday.
The word hero can be defined differently for each individual. A hero is not one who kills or dies for, a hero is a person who can manipulate the majority of people in a large group into assuming the hero’s way of thinking is always or mostly correct. Someone who makes an impact not only in their own time, but for further generations. The success of a person regardless of the time period or background they came from is what makes them worth labeling. The actions of a hero do not necessarily need to please everyone, but have the ability to inspire younger generations to work hard and try to become the most victorious in a large population.
A hero is someone who visualizes the needs of others exceeding their own needs. Some heroes utilize peaceful methods, and others fight to save the lives of those in need. Regardless of whether a hero physically fights for someone or not, they always want to do the right thing. Heroes of today’s society exemplify a variety of visages and character traits.
“A true hero isn’t measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart.” (By Zeus) When one hears the word hero one may be thinking of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman but these are just a few. Heroes are normally classified as having super strength and laser eyes, but they are so much more than that. They are people that are there for you when you need them, they are people that walk into the unknown without knowing what is awaiting them. Heroes are people that do something everyday to make a difference, even if it is just something little.
Everyone wants to a hero, wants to be loved, want to have a crowd cheering their name, wants to have a chance at a happy ending. Naturally, media gives us the stories where we see the heroes we want to be. However, when only certain people get to be the hero, we naturally form ideas on who hero or heroine. And usually, it is not someone of color, someone in the LGBTIAQ+ community, someone who isn’t skinny or ripped, or someone who is not a man. The amount of heroes who fall into the old mold is staggering in all kinds of media. However, there is one type of media that all kinds of heroes, a character for practically anyone who has not seen a hero like them on any screen. Introducing the wide wonderful world of webcomics.
Hero, a title that is usually given to a particular person that does any action considered heroic to the public that witness it. This ‘hero’ type of people sometimes willing to sacrifice themselves that to them is the greater good, even if it cost their own lives. They do not conceal themselves as numerous movies showcase it. Heroes can be anyone that is present when a problem arises. This is why I strongly disagree with John Greens quotes, that is “The real heroes anyway, aren’t the people doing things; the heroes are the people NOTICING things, paying attention”, and dare to take the stand that heroes are the people that doing things, rather than just watching and paying attention but do not take an action.
There are many different types of heroes out there. There are the flashy heroes that do a good deed for you own sake but they also do it for their own benefit. However, the genuine heroes that act selfless for you is the kind of hero everyone needs in their life. A true hero is someone who is always there for you, day or night. A hero is someone who would never lie to you, and someone you can always depend on. The heroes I have in my life range from my parents, my doctor and my best friend. However the ultimate hero is the culmination of those three figures. Someone who cares for you like your parents do, saves you like a doctor does and also gives you the never ending support like a best friend does.
What are heroes? Heroes aren’t super humans who have godlike powers or people who have the ability to save us from dying. Heroes don’t wear masks, capes, or any of those cool, fancy clothing. To me, heroes are something else, they are a lot different than the heroes you see on television. They are people who are always there for you through thick and thin, people who are brave and want you to succeed. Heroes never fail to help you and make you feel better if you're going through a rough time. Heroes usually look confident, courageous, and fearless. They would do anything for you no matter what without being afraid of a single thing. A hero must be nice, respectful, happy, and never sad. To be a hero you must do what is right and always be honest
