Hi Ericka, I agree that it is important to encourage our patients to use sunscreen no matter what their skin color is. I am probably the biggest offender on this one. I have brown skin but I don't like to use sunscreen when being outdoors. I, however, use protective clothing and hat when planning to be outside, especially if we go fishing.
