I started with swapping my negative thoughts with positive outlooks. Then, instead of thinking of what could go wrong, I thought of the advantage and benefits I’d gain. Most significantly, I understood that others opinion about me cannot in anyway define who I indeed am. Eventually, I comprehended that we’ve all got insecurities thus we’re ought to embrace them. If someone tells you you’re weird, outrageous or obnoxious your ultimate response should always be “thank you” with a smile, then do whatever you were going to do
These areas include your career and personal relationships with family/friends. Negative thoughts will continue to destroy various areas of your life. My point here is that people spend a lot of time seeking ways to improve their valued areas of life with a negative, mindset. Those who make poor decisions that hurt these areas of their lives are doing so because they lack the habit of positive thinking. Ultimately what is at stake is your legacy, your goals and your personal relationships. If you want to advance in life focus on the good in every situation and act on
"You must make good out of the situation and lifestyle that you are in by following God's Instructions, Commandments, and Suggestions, along with His Word and Spirit, so that your good light of love shines to help others and know God." ~ Jon Barnes
"People do who they are, lovers love, hates hate, thieves steal, teachers teach, workers work, slackers slack, lackers lack, drinkers drink, dealers deal, druggies use drugs, posers pretend, lier lies, and the likes, all of which, God knows the quality job you are performing with the proper reward attached to your name." ~ Jon Barnes
"The minds of many are trapped like a caged bird because they refuse to study the currency exchange value that God places on the mind; giving up God's priceless values to worthless valued sinful thoughts, ways, and objects." ~ Jon Barnes
Have you ever heard of a character in a book that is so obnoxious that he barges into a house and screams “Hello America”? Chances are you haven’t, unless you’ve read the awful book, American Born Chinese. In my opinion, the character Chin Kee is a bad addition to the book, who is Chin Kee you ask? Only one of the worst characters in all of history! The point of this essay is to inform you why Chin Kee is a terrible character. Now, who is this character?
I always take a negative situation and try seeing the positive in it. For example, if I am walking on the street and see an advertisement for healthier foods and the main attention is on a very thin model, usually I start thinking I should pay attention to what I eat so I can look at that model I instead tell myself that I am so blessed to have a healthy body and to have to two legs to walk me everywhere I please to. Simple reminders like this go a long way.
Challenge yourself to see the positive. View crises or problems as opportunities or learning experiences and eliminate negative self-talk. Don’t allow yourself to feel like a victim of a project
Stay in a joyous mood. If you are always in a good mood and spreading joy, there is no way to be negative. You will always be looking on the bright side seeing how fortunate you are. This will keep a smile on your face showing that you are truly happy. Also, help others around you to be in a good mood. This will help you connect with others.
