Say you have a paper due the next day that you didn’t start yet, and you might just want to take the zero so you can watch Netflix instead, but that’s not the best choice for you. It seems a lot of people are giving up these days. A different attitude about giving up easily is portrayed the film High Noon and the story “The Most Dangerous Game.” Although the plot and pattern in the film High Noon and the story “The Most Dangerous Game” are similar, the main characters are a little different. At first Kane and Rainsford might seem alike, but they do have some differences. “He places the folded testament in the center of his desk” (Foreman 326). When Kane realizes that no one wants to help him fight Miller, he starts writing his will and looses hope for himself in that moment. “Throwing off his sack of food, Rainsford too his knife from its sheath and began to work with all his energy” (Cornell 228). Kane couldn’t hide from Miller because Miller would always follow after Kane wherever he went. “Off there to the right-somewhere-is a large island.
