The focus of this paper will be to describe the experience I have had with a good boss. For the past five years, I have had the opportunity to help coach a high school baseball team. My boss at this job is the sports director at the high school. This paper will examine how Mr. brown exhibits the correct values and leadership for his position.

The first time they played, Billy won the game with a walk off 3 run homerun. Only this game is the State Championship and who ever wins this goes to Nationals. The only problem is the temperature is 112 degrees Fahrenheit, but the game must be played. Ricky the star player for the Gorillas is going to be on the mound today. He usually throws a 93 mile per hour fastball,lt is the best in the state of California. Billy will be on the mound for the Leopards he throws a 89 mile per hour fastball.

However, many of the characteristics flow over into various styles. The assignment also reviews the role that ethics can play in conjunction with being a leader.
The cases introduce two successful basketball coaches with good reputation and both of them have great career records of winning. One is Mike Krzyzewski, a 57-year-old man who is coaching the college basketball team of Duke University. Another one is Bob Knight, who was one of college basketball’s most successful and innovative coaches. Bob Knight was a mentor to Krzyzewski throughout Mike’s coaching career, which began at Army and then moved to Duke University in 1981. Even though Coach Knight was the key person who opened Mike’s career, the two coaches have totally different leadership styles.

Fernandez, (2008), also states, these facts influenced research on power, influence, managerial and ownership theories being used to manage corporations (P.1,). The Ohio State Model of Leadership program also enables authorities to produce competent appraisal opinions, techniques and requirements for current businesses.
In a business there are several different factors, and attributes that can excel or hinder a company’s environmental and economic success. Most people believe that a business’s longevity relies solely on its profits and regulations, when in actuality, it is the coaching and the leadership of the business. In fact, coaching and leadership are the greatest attributes that accumulate to a company’s success, but if they are abused, or misused, they can cause severe damage to the company’s well-being. For this paper I will be covering the topics of coaching and leadership in the workplace and will be giving different types of styles for both concepts. I will also evaluate the correlation between the two and will give several examples throughout to help comprehend the topics. I will then explain how these attributes can be abused and can cause more harm to a company than good. I will conclude my paper by highlighting all of the main points throughout the paper, and then give my own opinion on the subject.
