Education is very popular and important issue in our country, especially in some rural areas, for example: Ningxia, Guangxi and etc. in china. Rural areas mean countryside or the located is outside city. Urban areas have located the center of the city, for example: Shanghai, Beijing and etc. if we want to good at high school education, we should more focus in rural areas. Until now, we still have lots of children are staying at rural areas. High school education in rural areas are important in china.
In recent years, our country’s development is more and more good. If we want to compare children in high school in rural areas and urban areas, it still has too much difference. For example: we have 80% of children in Shanghai, they can have a good high school education. But, only 20% or less of children in rural areas they don’t know how to read words. Also, in urban areas’ family are supporting children have a high school education, because they have enough money to support their children have a good education and everything is better than rural areas’ families’ children. The second one is children in rural areas need to stay in home to help their family to do clear their farms and housework, or some family in rural areas they have more than three children, they cannot pay all of children’s cost. But, in my opinion is we necessary for children in rural areas attend a high school, because it is equal to learning between children in urban areas and rural areas. So, my suggestion
Throughout decades, education inequality is still one of the most deliberate and controversial issues in the United States. Thus far, the privilege or right to receive education has not attained the level of equality throughout the nation. Poor districts obtain less educational funds while rich districts obtain more, which create an immense gap between the quality of schools in poor and rich areas. In other words, the education gap is the root of inequality in America. Inequality in education is linked to the major problems in the society. The need for studies to be done to find ways of overcoming these inequalities is very inevitable. The means of mitigating these inequalities are important for the entire world. This is something of great interest due to the fact that children need quality education which is a pillar for a guaranteed future. Generally speaking, the distinctions among races, genders, and classes in the society have caused the educational inequality in America.
Marshall County Schools are located in Marshall County, Alabama. The county is surrounded by Madison and Jackson Counties to the north, Morgan County to the west, Cullman, Blount, and Etowah Counties to the south, and DeKalb County to the east. The majority of the schools are found in heavily populated rural areas. Marshall County is unique due to the fact that there are four city school districts in addition to the Marshall County School System. This poses a challenge concerning funding within the county. This is due to the fact that the city school systems are located in four of the largest cities within the county and compose approximately 90% of the tax base revenue for the county. Our county school system is made up of primarily rural communities that lack a viable tax base. This combined with the fact the Marshall County has such a high poverty rate in general (currently slightly above 81%) has left the county school system with little in regards to a local feasible and workable revenue source.
When each child gets equal access to education, the result is always a working and productive portion of the country’s population. With the state having a large percentage of working people, there is a remarkable improvement realized in the economy due to the high revenues collected by the government. For instance, if the low performing would have hard better measures to ensure educational equity, each would have
Due to the many large scale reform acts of previous, it is almost obvious that we need a change in the public schooling system. The aim of each act is to make a just system for each student to achieve. However, not all public school children are succeeding, in fact a large fraction of students are failing. Not only are the students failing, but entire schools are failing. This make origin a predictor of success because each school, depending on origin, is financed differently. Origin, however, is ultimately based upon income, therefore, income is the ultimate predictor of success. This means that the paycheck of the family that a child is born into more or less determines the child’s educational success. This is one of the many reasons why reform is necessary; because school as it is does not offer each child the same opportunities. This makes a main issue of public schooling a social issue, poverty.
Education has a pivotal role in children building blocks to the United States. Education of a child needs multidimensional efforts. Students, teachers, institutes and parents all have their importance in the child’s process of learning. Parents’ education is such a motivating force for a child which paves the way for his/her future. The Public schooling system in the United States is terrible; “student test scores
As we know, the education is one of the most important things around the world. Each state or country has their policy. New York State Education Department (NYSE) is the one, which has the biggest budget for education, estimated at 26 billion dollars ("Finance & Business”) (NYSE) This huge amount has a lot of benefits for the society in New York State (NYS), but also it has some disadvantages, which we should include them in this papers. Unfortunately, there are some wake points in education policy in (NYSE). For example, reading in 8th grade. So, we are going to include many points in this research. However, there are some questions in this research, which are what is the problem, and who cares about this research?
Li Chunling focused research on rural children in jobs and education, eventually writing an article based on the research analysis. Her article, “Trends in Educational Inequality in Different Eras (1940-2010) –A Re-Examimation of Opportunity Inequalities in Urban-Rural Education,” describes the differences between Upper and Middle class families (164). One point of the article is focused upon, “The Industrial Hypothesis, Reproduction Hypothesis, and Credentialism Hypothesis—to explain how industrialization, educational expansion, changes in national policies, and changes in class structure affect educational inequality” (Chunling 165). Industrialization, a topic similar to Globalization, continuously matches itself in the modern world. According to Chunling, the Industrial Hypothesis, “Predicts that as the level of industrialization increases, family background and its ascribed factors gradually have a weaker impact on educational
In Review of School choice in Urban America: magnet schools and the pursuit of equity, Claire Smrekar and Ellen Goldring present a critical evaluation of magnet schools, their policies and the importance of the schools of this type. In this study authors tell the story about magnet schools in the form of an essay in which they share their arguments and analysis as an educator as well as a researcher.
A. 42 percent of jobs needing a college degree are not filled due to 22.2 million children and adolescents dropping out or at risk each year. Therefore, most Latin American children are not given the top quality education resulting in entering jobs lacking skills to increase and improve the economy which creates an insufficient way to reduce poverty. The gap between the rich and the poor has increased to 1/3 of households and 2/5 people living under the poverty line despite the act of urbanization. This creates a system where a child's education is based on the parents' social status, their job, and their education where 74 million people live under $2 per day. In Latin America, people believe the child should receive the same education level
In 2009, the government made a policy that every children age from 6-14 must get education. Every private school has 25% of spare for those who are poor. However, the quality of public education system is poor and undeveloped. A quarter of teachers in public education are not teaching properly, and do not even present in the classroom. Students who are not able to go to high quality private school cannot get good quality education (Nikita Setia.n.p.). As a result, the economy of India is very poor and not growing for several years (BBC news.n.p.). India remains as developing country even though the government invests some money to the public education. The money is just wasted and not used efficiently. The social mobility of two of the lowest castes is low. Only 9% of them increase their social ladder while 25% of forward class move up to higher social class (Kunal Sen.n.p.). It shows how the education quality is different with the public school and private school. India needs better quality education to make economic
Nowadays, with the improvement of the social culture and the transformation of the educational concepts, parents and the society have become more and more concerned with the education of children. However, as future of the country, children’s growth environment will be affected by many reasons like economic condition, race, parents’ attitude and so on. The most important one I think is that socio-economic. Poverty, especially in the extreme, can add to people’s sense of humiliation and powerlessness, particularly where the gap between rich and poor is growing. In this case, children who from the different family condition will have totally different childhoods, even the future.
Childrens development is greatly influenced by the wealth or poverty of their family. It is a major factor in determining the education that the child has access to. A wealthy family is able to afford to send their children to private schools or even take private lessons in subjects they are interested in or where they need extra help. Students that come from a wealthy family background are able to choose more expensive hobbies in their free time, like horse riding or sailing and the family might take vacations in exotic places where the children can have new experiences. For a child coming from a less wealthy background it is not the case. A family might live in poverty for different reasons, for example, if a child comes from a single-parent
Education is a quality in which all learning should be given under unconditional pretenses. The opportunity to be privileged with higher learning and creative diversities places an extraordinary value in which all children should achieve. However, when economic and ethnic demographics supersedes integrity, equality, fairness, and entailing security for all students. The modern issues of the urban education confronts our society with alarming facts that students are failing not only under the umbrella of the schools but it stunts their ability to see themselves successful in their future. Varying economic statuses can significantly impact the dynamic between students and teachers, and may detract from the learning environment. Economic status affects how students interact with one another, learn concepts, develop intellectually and relate to authority figures of urban educations. Many economic factors converge to create this vicious cycle of urban educational decline, and the downward spiral of solutions due to the lack of funding.
People are not educated in rural areas. They are not aware about the importance of education in life. They do not afford education for their children. Most of the people in rural areas are poor. There are no education centers, colleges and authorized universities in rural areas. Everyone is illiterate. There are small schools located in rural areas where children are not taught
Since most primary and junior high schools are public, the government will supply funding to schools every year. The issue of how to distribute the funding is always controversial. It is no longer a secret that higher-achieving schools can receive much more financial support from government, so that they are able to hire more high-level teachers and own more advanced facilities. As a consequence, in order to give their children better education from early ages, parents will try to send their children to these high-achieving schools by all means, even against the policy (like giving the under-the-table benefits to school officers).
