Due to my advertising background and my multimedia degree, I am experienced with the use of Adobe Suite PC or Mac base and proficient in other equivalent software. It is necessary to be attentive to format requirements when producing a variety of advertising and marketing material. Examples of these has included graphic tutorials, PowerPoints to for GCSE work all supported by work sheets. Designed and built a variety of websites, sustaining their contents. Produce artwork for exhibition panels and literature to showcase departments. Take photographs and film of events to produce movies. Create a collection of material to be shown on the in-school TV’s to encourage enrichment activities.

Thus, I seek to pursue a course in line with such future prospects as a professional. I want to have a career in the business world in regards to technology in the business field. I also seek to travel the world and work or live in different cities and engage with different people to get different perspectives about life as I develop as a person, as a professional, and as a family person with my own family.

Coming from a Latino household, I’ve learned that anything is achievable – there are no walls nor boundaries to stop me from reaching my goals. One of my greatest skills and talents is working with technology and coding websites, I started coding a website on my own around the age of 12 and 13. I got into computers because of gaming. Once I started finding out how to code I wanted to build my own computer, I started gathering parts to build my own computer every since I was 13. Pursing a career as a medical doctor is an opportunity for me to mentor youth in underserved populations. As a child, I was raised in the low income, urban community of Roxbury, MA. Although not as notorious today, the neighborhood had garnered negative attention for its high crime rates. My mother emigrated from Haiti and raised me as a single parent. Due to our financial circumstance, Roxbury became our permanent residence. I have always felt there was something lacking in Roxbury in comparison to other towns I visited. Writers sometimes get carried away with big words and long drawn out sentences, ultimately missing their own point. When in reality what they’re really doing is taking up space on a page. Great writers recognize that it’s not about the complexity of their words that makes them good at writing, but how effective they are at getting their message across to readers. A writer should understand that the over use of words and drawn out sentences only bores and confuses the reader; making the reader less interested in what the writer has to say. The most important stage when writing an essay is getting your message across to your readers effectively, by avoiding wordiness, redundancy, and word complexity.
