Many people believe that, regardless of who claims the victory of the election for themselves on November 8th, the fate of America lies in shambles following this year. Although, with that being said and without a distinct champion in last night’s debate at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada, it is difficult to come to a reliable conclusion; however, I personally believe that Senator Hillary Clinton claimed victory in the final debate. If he had not lost his temper after the second period of the debate, obviously, I believed that Trump appeared victorious. However so, as Trump lost his temper, he also threw the debate for himself, crumbling under Hillary’s harsh comments. While both candidates appeared as overly viscous, it is only common sense for both to act that way, as this was the last debate; even so, even if Trump won this debate by keeping the façade he had at the beginning, there is a slight chance for him to actually win in the general elections. Both explained their stances on the issues fairly well, however, Trump happened to accuse Hillary and Obama for everything rather than actually answering most of the questions well. The first issue Moderator Chris Wallace brought up is the issue of the next …show more content…
At the end of the debate, Wallace heaved a surprise topic for them to discuss, a closing statement. As usual, Hillary Clinton stated the purpose of her campaign is to extend assistance out to everyone, whether it be Republicans, Democrats, or Independents. Trump, otherwise, attacked Clinton’s campaign, stating that, in order to “make America great again,” the United States cannot endure another four years of Obama. However so, in my opinion, that is exactly what America needs, rather than a so called businessman who cannot accept defeat or responsibility for his
Presidential nominee, Hillary Rodham Clinton, in a recent speech at a private fundraising event geared toward LGBT rights supporters, addressed her political opponent, Donald J. Trump and his supporters. The fundraiser was hosted by singer and actress, Barbra Streisand and her wealthy counterparts. The former Secretary of State argued that half of Donald Trump’s supporters can be put into a “basket of deplorable” and alluded that the other half are simply anti-government. Clinton supported her assertion by using logical fallacies by making hasty generalizations, faulty cause and effect, and bandwagon appeals. She also solidified her reasoning by stating, the supporters in the “basket of deplorable” are racists, sexists, xenophobic, and many
Bernie is now posting his best poll numbers of the campaign to date. He's only 4 points behind in Iowa and gaining, solidly ahead in New Hampshire, and has national momentum, too. What Sanders needed to do Sunday night was maintain that momentum, continue his appeal to liberal base voters, and blunt any attacks that Clinton might be tempted to unleash at him. He accomplished all of that, even if he didn't give a focused, dominant performance. His release of his single-payer financing details denied Clinton a major attack line, he avoided getting bogged down in guns (clearly his worst issue from the Democratic base's perspective), and he struck an tone that made him seem relatively above the fray as Clinton tried out various critiques targeting
In Hillary Clinton’s campaign ad, she uses ethos and pathos to tear down Trump. She uses the story of man to make a point that Trump has no interest in Muslims.
Clinton uses imagery again to help her audience imagine some of the hardships women around the world face. She describes some of the specific problems and difficulties women face when she says "At this very moment, as we sit here, women around the world are giving birth, raising children, cooking meals, washing clothes, cleaning houses, planting crops, working on assembly lines, running companies, and running countries..." Clinton uses this sentence to create an image of the variation of the duties that women perform around the world. Some women are successful enough to be able to run companies and countries, while others are stuck with only being able to perform basic duties, like washing clothes, cooking meals, giving birth, raising children, etc. Next she explains how women don't have equality by explaining some of the rights they are being denied, she states "They are being denied the right to go to school by their own fathers and brothers. They are being forced into prostitution and they are being barred from the bank lending offices and banned from the ballot boxes." She explains in detail some of the difficulties
The two candidates had completely different messages where they targeted different groups as well. Hillary’s spreaded a more positive and unifying message; Donald dispersed a message of big change and putting Americans first. Clinton’s slogans included: “Fighting for Us” “Love Trumps Hate” and “Stronger Together.” Her opponent, Trump, had one main slogan that I’m sure we are all very familiar with: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” They also appealed opposite crowds of people. Hillary directed her campaign toward her base of African-American, Hispanic, college student and female voters. Clinton hammered Trump throughout the whole election year as “someone who degrades women, mocks people with disabilities, insults African-Americans and Latinos and demonizes mexican immigrants and Muslims.” Donald Trump spoke to “small-town” America to the white, working-class voters that he knew would fire up his outsider campaign.
From watching the debate, it begins to make it more clear that this presidential election is honestly a huge joke. Donald Trump in my eyes is beyond unfit to be the president and to have that much power given to him. But on the other hand, with Hillary Clinton lies constantly, and we aren’t going to be able to believe anything that comes out of her mouth. While the debate was going on, it just got worse and worse. More than half the time DOnald was screaming at Hillary, not even trying to use his “inside voice” or at least try to be professional. Regardless of that Donald repeatedly said, “she doesn’t have the stamina.” What would exactly be considered as having the correct stamina to be qualified to run for being the president in the United States? In response to what Trump kept saying she said, “..but this is the man who has called women pigs, slobs, and dogs.” With the terrorist situations happening Hillary would bring up things that she thinks he was apart of, and supported those attacks. The debate for the election of our new president, for 2016, has been one of the most unbalanced political disputations in history. From having a wealthy businessman known for being famously irrational to a Jewish candidate being the first to be nominated in a presidential discussion, the 2016 presidential debate has certainly made history in our nation. From the first debate on August 6, 2015, held by the republicans in Cleveland, Ohio, I instantly had a perception that the 2016 debate was going to be a relentless altercation. Not only was talk spreading about the notorious republican candidate Donald Trump deciding that if he gets elected president, he will construct a wall to close off the illegal immigration of Mexicans; but, also many candidates, “were dropping like flies,” quoted by Sis Hargrove.
From the very beginning of the second presidential debate, l felt as though l definitely saw two different sides to each candidate. It felt less filtered then the first presidential debate. However, within only a minute of the debate, the topic of Donald Trump’s “locker room” talk and his disrespectful words, perception and action towards women, were questioned. Instead, Trump attempts to defend himself by stating that he has great respect for women, that it was just words, and that he’s not proud of it - just like how Bill Clinton shouldn’t be proud of his own scandal. Donald Trump reversed the question (he actually diverted most of the questions he was asked) and moved to focus on Bill Clinton’s scandal and sexual harassment of women, and
In conclusion to this research paper, Hillary Clinton strongly has the views of political rationalism, because she is so educated in law and politics she encompasses the political activity and capacity and the broad disposition to act in politics on the basis of rational belief when it comes to policy making. As such, theories of political rationalism are apt to be as varied as theories of rationalism sans phrase. This fact seems to have been largely ignored by critics of political rationality, who often paint with a very broad brush indeed. In particular, and most important for present purposes, anti- or non-rationalist strains in recent political theory have evinced little interest in, and make virtually no reference to, a variety of enormously
Conflict is defined as a culture, language of, spiral of unmanaged, structural versus nonstructural sources of, in teams. Conflict happens when two different groups perceive some incompatibility between themselves, which can lead to conflict. One of the conflicts that has been in the news is the fact that a female, Hilary Clinton, is running for president. I am in complete and utter support of anything and everything that has to do with women’s rights and a female running for president is something that I did not think I would see during my lifetime. One of the many recommendations that I would make to the parties moving forward is simply, equality for everyone. Even though huge strides are being made yearly, there is no reason for lack of
Campaigning year has begun and so has the advertisement democratic TV promotions are circulating every day by Democrat Hillary Clinton and focused on new Hampshire voters at the same time republican trump has just invest two million a week into such advertisements Hillary has much less money than trump I assume the number of political advertisement will be skyrocketing this year in the presidential race. Billions are being raised to finance these campaigns however trump is utilizing his own assets pus due to his own fame and wealth he is at a great advantage to his competitors as candidates may spend as much of their own cash to finance their own
The first bullet I chose to analyze was the bullet about members in government being women. The bullet stated, “If people knew that China, Cuba, Iraq, and Afghanistan have more women in government than America, it would get some people upset.” When I first read this statement I was very shocked. I was shocked because of the fact that the United States is internationally portrayed as a democratic country with freedom, but have fewer women in government, when compared to multiple third world countries that are not considered to label women as equal as men. My opinion on this statement is, that the United States has a long road ahead of them in providing a diversity of members in their government. My opinion is arguably true, considering the
With our recent electoral poll to establish a new presidential power in the United States, a great amount of political figures used their authority and known status in the political system, to inform and persuade the public of the great things that our candidates could provide to our country. These political figures spoke their minds to advise the citizens of America and to vote for the candidate that could be the one leader this country needs. As a matter of fact, Michelle Obama, our first lady, shared her point of view during Democratic National Convention, igniting millions of citizens into making the decision of voting for our female candidate for presidency, Hillary Clinton. Obama’s use of repetition for emphasis, the implementation of personal anecdotes to deliver concern and compassion and, her use of empirical evidence which helped into the legitimization of her
My article I have chosen this week is on the presidency campaign between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. It’s Title How Client Trump’s is crazy strategy Could backfire. The reason I have chosen to do the element of reason on this article is because the president election is the most talk about thing in the news today, my opinion is in the most important thing in the news and the American public is not pay enough attention to what’s going on in this race.
