In conclusion to this research paper, Hillary Clinton strongly has the views of political rationalism, because she is so educated in law and politics she encompasses the political activity and capacity and the broad disposition to act in politics on the basis of rational belief when it comes to policy making. As such, theories of political rationalism are apt to be as varied as theories of rationalism sans phrase. This fact seems to have been largely ignored by critics of political rationality, who often paint with a very broad brush indeed. In particular, and most important for present purposes, anti- or non-rationalist strains in recent political theory have evinced little interest in, and make virtually no reference to, a variety of enormously
After losing the last presidential elections, Hillary Clinton became Secretary of State in the Obama administration. Clinton future at the White House is questionable at this stage as she announced that she would no longer serve as Sectary of State and she would not run for presidency in 2012; some rumors however state that she considers competing in the 2016 elections. It is nevertheless worthwhile to mention that it has been nearly two centuries since any sectary of state has become United States president.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., she attended Wellesley College, then earning a J.D. (Juris Doctor) from Yale Law School in 1973. This hardworking presidential candidate is a woman who’s been fighting for children and families for over forty years. Someone who has provided her best works in reaching over the limits of a woman and providing millions of children with health care. This person is Hillary Clinton, and these are the only some of the biggest accomplishments she has made during her lifetime, there can and will be more if she gets voted as President of the United States of 2016-2020. She has been through many experiences in government, such as being an American lawyer and politician, U.S.
“Liberal” and “conservative” are common short-hand ways to describe politicians and policies. Rational choice theory, which assumes people act out of self-interest as voters just as they do as consumers (Cochran & Malone, 2010, p. 62), suggests voters want such short-hand descriptions to help them make decisions. A key aspect of this
As the next election is soon to approaching I have noticed that the presidential nominees are no more than a joke to the other people that have served this great country as the presidents of the united states.
With the presidential election coming to a close on this Tuesday, November 8th, the research that was gathered in class, allowed a new insight into which candidate was best suited for the job. Each candidate in this election, both have very different view points on each important topic going on in our country today, allowing voters to see the complete complexity of this election. For example, topics including gun control, the pay gap situation and abortion allowed myself, as a voter, to gain knowledge about each candidates position on the topic and which candidate I believed was my ideal one for presidency. In this election, I believe Hilary Clinton is the best candidate for presidency.
Jon Cozart begins his satire of the 2016 political campaigns by targeting on Hillary Clinton first. In order to understand the claims, he makes in the piece it is necessary to have an understanding of all of the different events that were happening during the campaign. Without an understanding of the political climate throughout the campaigns, Cozart’s claims are not as potent. Specifically, in Hillary’s section he uses her focus on women’s rights and her reputation as shifty as the foundation for his argument. Jon Cozart believes Hillary to be power hungry and egotistical and uses rhetorical tropes and schemes to paint this picture of Hillary.
Hilary Clinton has been called many slanderous things: controversial, a cheater, and a corrupt emailer . However, American voters should take into consideration her potential as a grandiloquent leader. Hilary Clinton has several years of political experience due to her being the first lady during her husband’s 1992 presidential run . In addition to this, she has served as the United States’ Secretary of State from 2009-2013 , Arkansas First Lady , and as the United States Senator for New York from 2001 to 2009 . Her political influence can be compared to numerous female political figures such as Madeleine Albright , the first woman to be appointed as the United States Secretary of State or even “the Iron Lady”, Margaret Thatcher, who was Britain’s
Hillary Clinton was never, publicly speaking, a regular person. She was the first First Lady to earn a postgraduate degree, from Yale Law School no less. She often shocked the American public with her dedication to policy, especially surrounding humanitarian efforts, education, and healthcare reform (Marshall 1). Clinton was often criticized for overstepping her First Wife boundaries, constantly being referred to as “non-traditional” during
Firstly, Clinton's disdain for Obama during their joint campaigning seemed more pointed and contained more animosity than any other candidate. In the beginning of the chapter it is noted that Clinton would privately criticize Obama for comparing his record to hers and other candidates, including Joe Biden, after her dominance of debates. "Am I the only one who sees the arrogance? Does that not bother people?" Our group found this aspect of Clinton interesting because she has a reputation for being arrogant and unrelatable. We believe that her scrutiny and disdain of Obama reflected her
And being a criminal shouldn’t? I think Crooked Hillary has more than enough reasons that are far more damaging to prevent her from even running for president. O'Malley, once again, had great points, but not enough power to use them, even though he has a track record of liberal policies. His name is just not in the news enough.
In society it been repeated that a woman can’t do things men can, but in history they have proven them wrong. In the book A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry, Beneatha Younger can be compared to Hillary Clinton because they both want to stand up for their women’s rights, because over the years it is proven genders are not equal. In this passage hillary clinton and beneatha younger take a stand. Hillary Clinton is pragmatic. She been senate for eight years and secretary of state for four years for president Obama .
Sunday, September 17, 2017. The first story that appeared across the newsfeed was that of our Commander in Chief retweeting a video of himself. This time he was hitting a golf ball, it smacks Hillary Clinton in the back and knocks her down. Perfect. Could there have been more ironic imagery for the novel than this? Picture it, the most powerful man in the world, the one with the nuclear codes, tweeting videos where he is implying to the world that he is knocking down a woman. His competitor, a former Senator, Secretary of State and First Lady.
My Hypothesis is that Hilary Clinton did not win the election because she felt entitled to the position after serving for many years as a First Lady, Vice President, and many other positions in the White House. As a woman, she should have known that you constantly must work twice as hard to receive that same credit, notoriety, respect, and privilege
Conflict is defined as a culture, language of, spiral of unmanaged, structural versus nonstructural sources of, in teams. Conflict happens when two different groups perceive some incompatibility between themselves, which can lead to conflict. One of the conflicts that has been in the news is the fact that a female, Hilary Clinton, is running for president. I am in complete and utter support of anything and everything that has to do with women’s rights and a female running for president is something that I did not think I would see during my lifetime. One of the many recommendations that I would make to the parties moving forward is simply, equality for everyone. Even though huge strides are being made yearly, there is no reason for lack of
