Hillary Clinton has been referred to as one the most influential women in history, not only has she made her mark on policy issues, she has been the voice and leader for many feminist movements and continues to push the issue of progress for all.
Although Hillary Clinton is one of the most covered politicians and women figures in the world, there is no denying her impact on society, and it is something that should be discussed with the public.
Hillary Clinton began to receive notoriety when she graduated from Wellesley College in 1969 (Boston, Massachusetts), she was the first student to deliver the graduation commencement speech in the history of the institution. Hillary then went on to receive a law degree from Yale Law School, where she graduated in 1973.
Hillary Clinton decided to follow Bill Clinton (current husband) to Arkansas where she passed the bar exam. In 1974 Bill Clinton was appointed attorney general of the state of Arkansas, Hillary joined the Rose Law firm, where she began practicing law.
Bill Clinton began his presidential campaign in 1992, Hillary drew much attention by the American people for not being “the typical presidential nominees partner”.
Hillary received a large amount of scrutiny for her comments on the typical role of the first lady. Bill Clinton was often quoted saying that by electing him, the American people would receive two for the price of one, referring to him and Hillary of course.
